This standard is formulated based on the Japanese Industrial Standard JSK5373-1989 "Light Load Synchronous Belt". It is equivalent to the main text of the Japanese Industrial Standard in terms of technical content, but different from it in terms of writing rules. The Appendix "Light Load Synchronous Belt Usage Method" in JISK6373 is not included in this standard.
This standard is proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is issued by Qingdao Rubber Industry Research Institute. This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging and storage rules of annular trapezoidal tooth synchronous belts (referred to as synchronous belts) for low-power transmission. This standard is applicable to MXL and XXL type annular trapezoidal synchronous belts for low-power transmission. 2 Referenced standards

3.1 Type
Synchronous belts are divided into the following types:
A. Single-sided synchronous belt: a synchronous belt with teeth on one side. B. Double-sided synchronous belt: a synchronous belt with teeth on both sides. Double-sided synchronous belts are divided into two types according to the arrangement of teeth: symmetrical tooth double-sided synchronous belt and staggered tooth double-sided synchronous belt. 3.2 Model

4 Requirements

4.1 Materials and structure
Synchronous belts generally use rubber as backing and tooth rubber. The core rope used for the tensile body should be glass fiber rope, steel wire rope or synthetic fiber rope, etc. The tension should be uniform and the core rope should be located at the node line. The teeth and tooth bottom are covered with rubber-coated fabric or directly exposed. The tooth cover is made of nylon cloth or other synthetic fiber cloth. The density of the warp and weft should be uniform. The structure of the ladder-tooth synchronous belt is shown in Figure 1. 1

4.2 Dimensions
The tooth shape dimensions, length and its limit deviation, width and its limit deviation and height of the synchronous belt shall comply with the provisions of GB/T11616.
4.3 Physical and mechanical properties
The physical and mechanical properties of the synchronous belt shall comply with the provisions of Table 2, Table 2

4.4 Appearance quality

4.4.1 The working surface of the synchronous belt shall have full trapezoidal teeth with equal spacing, and the wrapping cloth shall not be damaged. 4.4.2 The backing rubber and tooth rubber of the synchronous belt shall not have defects such as bubbles, pits, cracks, coffins, scars, etc. that hinder the use. 4.4.3 The synchronous belt shall not be twisted.
5 Sampling!
5.1 The appearance quality of the wide-step belt shall be measured according to the provisions of 4.4 of this standard. 5.2 The synchronous belt shall be sampled by batch for size and physical and mechanical properties inspection. A batch of no more than 2000 synchronous belts of the same model shall be considered. When the weekly output is less than 2000 belts, at least one inspection shall be carried out per week. 5.3 At least three belts from each batch of synchronous belts shall be selected for dimensional inspection. 5.4 If there are unqualified items in the test, double samples shall be taken from the batch of synchronous belts for testing of the unqualified items. If there is still one unqualified item after the re-inspection, the batch of products shall be unqualified. 6 Test method
6.1 The tooth profile of the synchronous belt shall be measured using a projector, and the width shall be measured using a caliper with an accuracy of 0.02mm. 6.2 The pitch line length of the synchronous belt shall be measured using a synchronous belt length measuring machine in accordance with the provisions of GB/T11616. 6.3 The tensile strength and reference force elongation of the synchronous belt shall be tested using non-annular samples in accordance with the provisions of GB/T10716. 6.3.1 Take three specimens with a length of more than 250 mm (when the belt length is less than 250 mm, the length of the specimen is the belt length) from at least two identical tapes from the same batch of products. The width of the specimen is equal to the belt width. 6.3.2 The distance between the marking lines in the elongation measurement is 100 mm in principle. 6.3.3 The test result is the average of the three measured values ​​and rounded to the nearest integer. 7 Marking, labeling, packaging, storage and transportation
7.1 Marking
The synchronous belt must have obvious markings that cannot be washed off. The markings should include the following: Manufacturer name:

7.3 Packaging
According to the model, length, width, quantity, quality and volume of the synchronous belt, the product shall be packed in suitable packaging boxes. The belt shall not be subjected to twists and turns. The packaging box shall be attached with labels and certificates of conformity.7.4 Storage and transportation
7.4,1 During storage and transportation, the synchronous belt shall be kept away from direct sunlight and prevent contact with acids, alkalis and oils.7.4.2 During storage, the warehouse temperature shall be kept between -18 and +40℃, and the relative humidity shall be kept between 50% and 80%. 7.4.3 During storage, avoid excessive weight on the synchronous belt and deformation, and do not allow the belt to be bent.
