This standard is a revision of JB/T7966.1-95 (original GB6336.1-86) "Mold milling cutter straight shank cylindrical ball head end mill". During the revision, only editorial changes were made according to relevant regulations, and the technical content remained unchanged. The original standard non-equivalently adopts the standard series I group and long series I group in the international standard ISO1641/1-1978 "End mills and key milling cutters Part 1: Straight shank milling cutters".
