5 Requirements
5.1 Basic requirements

5.1.1 The nominal capacity and structural dimensions of steel drums shall comply with the provisions of 4.2 and 4.3. 5.1.2
The barrel body, barrel top and barrel bottom are all made of a whole thin steel plate, and splicing is not allowed. The barrel body weld is welded by resistance welding.
5.1.4 The barrel body type adopts one of the following provisions: with 2 ring ribs:

5.3 Quality requirements
5.3.1 Closure assembly quality
The closure assembly quality shall comply with the following provisions: Test conditions

a) The closure is complete and well sealed after assembly, and the interchangeability of the matching parts is guaranteed. b) The height of the closure after assembly is lower than the edge of the curling edge. 5.3.2 Quality of the protective layer on the inner and outer surfaces of steel drums
The quality of the protective layer on the inner and outer surfaces of steel drums shall meet the requirements of paint film adhesion not less than Grade 3 specified in Appendix A of GB/T325-2000.
5.3.3 Appearance quality of steel drums
The appearance quality of steel drums shall meet the following requirements: a) The steel drums are round, free of burrs, mechanical damage and iron tongues on the rolled edges; b) There are no more than 2 concave moles on the steel drums, and the area of ​​each mole is not more than 1% of the area of ​​the barrel body: there are no more than 2 straight seam repair welds on the barrel body, the surface of the weld scar is flat, the width is not more than one time of the original weld, and the total length is not more than 10% of the straight seam length C
, and repair welding is not allowed on the top of the ring ribs;
d) The rolled edges of steel drums are allowed to be repaired in the whole circle, and the welds are flat and uniform; e) The inside of the drum is clean, free of rust, slag and other impurities; the paint film is flat and smooth, the color is uniform, and there are no defects such as wrinkles and flow. 5.4 Material requirements
5.4.1 Steel plate
Cold-rolled thin steel plate should be preferred for steel plate, and hot-rolled carbon structural steel thin steel plate for oil drums can also be selected according to the provisions of YB/T5037. It can also be selected according to user requirements, but other thin steel plates with performance lower than that specified in YB/T5037 cannot be selected. 5.4.2 Sealing filler
Sealing filler should adopt materials with good sealing performance, heat resistance, weather resistance, durability and anti-solvent properties that are compatible with latex. Sealing filler with natural latex as the main raw material can be preferred. 5.4.3 External surface coating, internal surface coating
The external surface coating should adopt materials with strong adhesion, good weather resistance and durability; the internal surface coating should adopt materials that do not affect the quality of latex. 6 Test method
6.1 Structural dimensions
The structural dimensions are tested with universal measuring tools with an accuracy of 0.5mm. 6.2 Air tightness test
Perform according to the method specified in GB/T17344, the test pressure is 30kPa, maintain the pressure for 5 minutes, and check whether the sample barrel has leakage. 6.3 Hydraulic test
Fill the barrel with water, connect the pressure gauge to the pressure pump, and fix it on the injection port through the connecting parts, pressurize the barrel, and after the pressure reaches 100kPa, maintain the pressure for 5 minutes, and check whether the sample barrel has leakage. 6.4 Drop test
Perform according to the method specified in GB/T4857.5, fill the steel barrel with 98% of its capacity of clean water, select the weakest part of the edge of the steel barrel and drop it. After falling, drill a hole in the highest part of the steel barrel. When the internal and external pressures are balanced, there is no leakage. 6.5 Stacking test
Perform according to the method specified in GB/T4857.3, the test time is 24h, the load is 17150N, and after inspection, the steel barrel should not have any deformation and serious damage that may reduce its strength or cause instability in stacking. 6.6 The quality of the closure assembly shall be carried out in accordance with the method specified in GB/T13251.
6.7 Quality of internal and external surface protective layer
Adhesion of paint film shall be tested in accordance with the provisions of 5.3.2 of this standard. 4
6.8 Appearance quality
Inspection shall be conducted by hand feeling, visual inspection and general measuring tools. 7 Inspection rules

7.1 Steel drums shall be inspected by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer or relevant quality inspection departments in accordance with this standard, and a qualified seal shall be affixed or a qualified certificate shall be issued. 7.2 Inspection of steel drums is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. 7.2.1 Factory inspection
7.2.1.1 The monthly production is one batch.
7.2.1.2 Normal inspection and one sampling plan in accordance with GB/T2828: a) 5.1 and 5.3 of this standard are factory inspection items, and their inspection levels are special inspection level S-3 and qualified quality level 6.5. The sampling number and the number of qualified judgments are shown in Table 3;

b) The airtightness test in 5.2 of this standard is a factory inspection item, and its inspection level is special inspection level S-1 and qualified quality level 2.5. 7.2.2.1 5.1.5.2 and 5.3 of this standard are type inspection items. The sampling number is 9. The inspection procedure is as follows: Take 3 sample barrels to inspect 5.1 and 5.3, then use these 3 sample barrels for airtightness test, and then use these 3 sample barrels for liquid pressure test:

7.2.2.2 Steel barrels shall be subjected to type inspection in any of the following cases: Pre-production and type identification of new products or conversion of old products: a)
When the structure, material, or process changes may affect product performance; b
In normal production, an inspection shall be conducted every six months; d) When the product is resumed after a long period of suspension; When the inspection result is significantly different from the last type inspection result; e)

g) When specified in the contract.
7.3 Judgment rules
7.3.1 Judgment rules for factory inspection
When more than 4 items in 5.1 and 5.3 are unqualified, the sample shall be judged as unqualified. When the airtight test in 5.2 fails, the sample is judged as unqualified. When the number of unqualified samples is greater than or equal to the number of unqualified judgments specified in Table 3 and Table 4, the batch of products is judged to be unqualified.
7.3.2 Type inspection judgment rules
7.3.2.1 When more than 4 items in 5.1 and 5.3 fail, the sample is judged to be unqualified; if 1 sample fails, the batch is judged to be unqualified.
7.3.2.2 According to 5.2 of this standard, the inspection is carried out. When 1 sample fails, the item is judged to be unqualified; if 1 item fails, the batch is judged to be unqualified.
7.3.3 After the steel drums in the unqualified batch are removed, they are submitted for inspection again, and the strictness remains unchanged. If it is still unqualified, the batch is judged to be unqualified.
7.3.4 Delivery conditions of steel drums
The delivery of steel drums is based on the certificate issued by the manufacturer. When the user has objections to the quality, he has the right to conduct inspections according to the items specified in the technical requirements of this standard. If the inspection meets the requirements of this standard, it is a qualified product and the sample drum shall be used as the actual number of delivery. 8 Marking, packaging, transportation and purchase and storage
It shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 8 of GB/T3252000. 9 Use of recycled steel drums
9.1 Recycling
Recycled steel drums refer to steel drums that have contained concentrated natural latex. It is prohibited to use old steel drums that have contained chemicals, pesticides, grease, etc. as latex packaging drums.
Recycled steel drums shall be repaired and inspected before they can be used as latex packaging drums again. 9.2 Repair
Cleaning, including removing residues in the drum and cleaning the inner and outer surfaces of the drum. Shaping, including leak testing and painting.
9.3 Requirements
Appearance is basically complete: the closure is complete: the paint layer is uniform. 9.4 Inspection
Appearance quality is measured by hand and visual inspection; each repair barrel must undergo a 20kPa whole barrel airtightness test. 9.5 Labeling
Make labels according to user requirements.4 Delivery conditions of steel drums
