National Standard of the People's Republic of China Insterted blade gear hobs UDC 621.9.02 GB 9205-8B This standard applies to insert gear hobs with module 9 to 40mm (GB1357-78 "Involute cylindrical gear module"). Insert gear hobs manufactured according to this standard are suitable for machining gears with reference tooth profiles specified in GB1356-78 "Involute cylindrical gear reference tooth profiles". 1 Type and basic dimensions 1.1 The type and basic dimensions of insert gear paint cutters shall be as specified in the following figure and table. Insert gear hobs are made into single-head, right-handed, zero-degree rake angle, and the chip groove is a straight groove parallel to its axis. Type with axial keyway Type with end face keyway Approved by the National Machinery Industry Commission on 19B8-05-12 and implemented on 198-0F-01 1st series, No. 2 Series GB9205—88 Type with axial keyway Note: The diameter of the hob shaft is determined by the tool factory, and its size should be as large as possible. ② According to the production requirements, the hob can be made into a left-handed rotation. 215 Type with end face keyway 1.2 The key plate gear hob specified in this standard is composed of a cutter body, a blade, a wedge, a fixing ring and other parts. The size of each part is determined by the tool factory. The mating surface of the assembled lock plate gear cutter should be tightly matched. 2 Technical requirements The insert gear specified in this standard The accuracy grade, technical requirements and performance tests of gear hobs shall comply with GB6084-85 "General Technical Conditions for Gear Hobs" except for the following provisions. 2.1 The involute basic worm shall be used to inspect the tooth shape of the segmented gear hob. 2.2 The heat treatment hardness of the cutter body and the fixing ring of the segmented gear hob is stipulated as follows; the inner hole and end face of the cutter body shall be surface quenched, and the hardness shall not be less than HRC45. The heat treatment hardness of the fixing ring shall not be less than HRC30. 2.3 After the test, the blade and fixing ring of the segmented gear hob shall not be loose. Marking and Packaging GB 9205-88 8.1 The end face of the key plate gear hob should be marked with: manufacturer's trademark, module, base male tooth angle, helix angle on the hob cylinder, helix direction (right-handed is not marked), back-cutting amount, accuracy grade, material (ordinary high-speed steel is not marked), production license number, and manufacturing year. 8.2 The hob should be treated with rust prevention before packaging. The packaging must be firm and prevent damage during transportation.
