1 Introduction National Standard of the People's Republic of China Conversion tables of kilogram-force and newton Kilogram-force and newton conversion tables UDC531.78.081 GB4112—83 bZxz.net 1.1 This standard applies to all occasions where kilogram-force (kgf) is converted into newton (N) and newton is converted into gram-force. The conversion tables of this standard are limited to general conversions. The converted figures in the conversion tables are rounded to five significant figures in accordance with the provisions of GB1.1-81 "General Provisions for the Preparation of Standards in the Guidelines for Standardization Work", and the figures below 1 are rounded to four decimal places. If necessary, the calculation and rounding shall be carried out according to the conversion factors given in 1.2.
