Introduction to standards:

This standard is formulated to ensure the quality of extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer of buried steel pipeline, extend its service life and improve its economic benefits. This standard is applicable to the design, production and construction acceptance of extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer of buried steel pipeline. Extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer can be divided into normal temperature type (N) with long-term working temperature not exceeding 50℃ and high temperature type (H) with long-term working temperature not exceeding 701C. In addition to complying with the provisions of this standard, the design, production and construction acceptance of extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer of buried steel pipeline shall also comply with the provisions of relevant national mandatory standards in force. 1.0.1 This standard is formulated to ensure the quality of extruded polyethylene anticorrosion coatings for buried steel pipelines, extend their service life, and improve economic benefits. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the design, production, and construction acceptance of extruded polyethylene anticorrosion coatings for buried steel pipelines. Extruded polyethylene anticorrosion coatings can be divided into normal temperature type (N) with a long-term working temperature not exceeding 50°C and high temperature type (H) with a long-term working temperature not exceeding 70°C. 1.0.3 In addition to complying with the provisions of this standard, the design, production, and construction acceptance of extruded polyethylene anticorrosion coatings for buried steel pipelines shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant current national mandatory standards. 2 Anti-corrosion layer structure
2.0.1 Extruded polyethylene anti-corrosion layer is divided into two-layer structure and three-layer structure. The bottom layer of the two-layer structure is adhesive and the outer layer is polyethylene; the bottom layer of the three-layer structure is epoxy powder coating, the middle layer is adhesive, and the outer layer is polyethylene. 2.0.2 The thickness of the anti-corrosion layer shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.0.2. The thickness of the anti-corrosion layer at the weld shall not be less than 70% of the value specified in Table 2.0.2.
