Verification procedure for exhaled gas alcohol content detector This procedure applies to the initial verification, subsequent verification and in-use inspection of exhaled gas alcohol content detector: 2 Overview
Exhaled breath alcohol content detector (equipment store) detects the alcohol content in human exhaled gas. The detector consists of gas circuit, electronic circuit, sensor and display. The sensor types are generally electrochemical
type (fuel cell), semiconductor type and infrared type. The working principle is that ethanol passes through the sensor and is converted into current or voltage signal, and then through the analog-to-digital conversion circuit 3 Metering performance requirements

The maximum indication value is greater than ±0.04 mk/L. 3.2 Repeatability The indication error shall not exceed ±0.025 mg/L. In the measurement range of 0.4 mg or less, the maximum indication error shall not exceed ±0.4 mg/L. The relative error of the indication shall not exceed ±10%. 3.3 Anti-interference The relative error of the indication shall not exceed ±10%. The instrument responds to the filtered gas in the center of the air at 3%/3%. The response value should not be greater than 0.04. 3.4 Memory effect: For the test base, the response value should not be greater than 0.04. 4.1 The blowing pressure should not be greater than 3%/3. Inspection during use
Turn on the power supply of the instrument (rated voltage value), and gradually reduce the power supply voltage. When the power supply voltage drops to the lower limit of the rated working voltage, the instrument should issue an alarm or indication. 6.4.3 Pressure
Use bottled air or nitrogen with a pressure reducing valve to slowly adjust the bed pressure. When the instrument is sampling, the pressure on the small force gauge should be greater than 240Pa.
6.4.4 Exhalation continuity
Slowly adjust the pressure. Start the sampling pump at the same time as it starts working. At 2,5. If the air flow is interrupted within 5, the instrument shall issue an alarm signal or interrupt the measurement.
6.4.5 Holding or storage time of results
Pass an ethanol standard with a mass concentration of about 0.5 into the instrument. When the instrument displays the measurement result, start the stopwatch and record the holding or storage time of the measurement result. The result shall meet the requirements of 4.3: 6.4,6 Indication error
After the instrument is powered on and preheated to stabilize, pass zero point gas and ethanol standard gas with a mass concentration of about 0.5mg/L to calibrate the zero indication of the instrument, and then pass ethanol standard gas with a mass concentration of about 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5rmg/L respectively, and record the stable indication of the instrument. The point is made three times, and the arithmetic mean of the three times is the instrument value: 0.1 rrg/L and 0.3 m/L. Description of ethanol standard gas
Because ethanol is a liquid organic matter at room temperature and normal pressure, it is easy to be adsorbed by the bottle body, valve body and gas path due to the nature of ethanol. Bottled high-pressure ethanol mixed gas (especially low concentration) has not been easy to accurately prepare and store for a long time. The measurement base range of the precision meter is generally (0-50)×. The metrological standard instrument can be: "excited gas gas preparation device", "alcohol simulator" to prepare ethanol standard gas, or bottled ethanol gas in air. The most standard is recommended according to the following requirements. The calibration cycle shall not exceed 12 years. A.1 Liquid gas preparation device should have a) carrier tape b) sampling c) preparation d) preparation e) preparation gas preparation device instruction manual and volume uncertainty 4 volume uncertainty 1 characteristic component u: 3 The linear coefficient of 0.5 should not be greater than the uncertainty of the standard gas. A.2 The alcohol device should include the instructions for use of the simulator. A.3 Bottled non-alcohol standard gas, if unpacked in China, contains self-made and promulgated air standard gas performance indicators to ensure effective traceability of the measurement value, at least including the following: maximum uncertainty of 3%, valid certificate; the prepared ethanol standard gas should also be used, and its concentration range and uncertainty approved by the metrology administrative department should meet the requirements of the regulations.
