Type Test Method
1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
JB/T6039.2-1992
This standard specifies the type test items and test methods for highland crawler bulldozers (hereinafter referred to as highland bulldozers). This standard is applicable to highland bulldozers (excluding hydrostatic transmission types) used in areas with an altitude of 2000 to 4000m. Regular inspections of highland products can refer to this standard. Reference standards

3.1 Two prototypes are provided for type test. Plateau industrial test and plateau whole machine performance test can be carried out on the two prototypes respectively. 3.2 In addition to the preparation of technical data of the plateau bulldozer for test, which shall comply with the provisions of Article 1.3.1 of JB1666, the preparation shall also include the bench test report of the matching engine at an altitude of 3500-4000m, the instructions for plateau device components and performance test data. 3.3 All performance test items specified in this standard must be carried out at a test site at an altitude of 3000-4000m or in a laboratory simulating the same conditions.
The test site for positioning, traction and driving shall comply with the provisions of Article 1.3.3 of JB1666. 3.4 The measuring instrument
should comply with the provisions of Article 1.3.2 of JB1666. 3.5 The measurement accuracy requirements
should comply with the provisions of Article 1.4 of JB1666. 3.6 The running-in and acceptance of the Sichuan Plateau bulldozer shall comply with the provisions of Article 1.5 of JB1666. Machine performance test
4.1 Positioning test
4.1.1 Measurement of main geometric parameters.
4.1.2 Mass measurement.

4.1.4 Determination of operating force and stroke of the operating device. Articles 4.1.1~4.1.4 shall comply with the requirements of Articles 2.1~2.4 of JB1666 respectively. 4.1.5 The performance measurement of the bulldozer shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 3 of JB1666, and two conditions of altitude and air pressure shall be added in Table 7. 4.1.6 Plateau low temperature start test
The prototype adopts plateau low temperature start measures. At an altitude of 3000m or more, the ambient temperature is -23 to -25℃, and the machine is stopped for more than 12 hours and put in the neutral position. The test conditions, test methods, and measurement items should refer to the provisions of Articles 4.1.2 to 4.1.4 of JB3826, and the machine should be started within 8 minutes. The test location, altitude, air pressure, temperature, humidity and other conditions and test results should be recorded in detail. 4.2 Driving performance test
4.3, traction performance test
Articles 4.2 and 4.3 shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 4.5 of JB1666, and three additional conditions, namely, altitude, air pressure, and hydraulic transmission temperature, shall be added in Tables 8 to 14.
4.4 Thermal balance test

Highland industrial test
1 Test purpose
The purpose of the plateau industrial test is to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility and economy of the plateau bulldozer under plateau field conditions to evaluate the product quality indicators. The contents are:
a. Assessment of plateau bulldozer reliability indicators; assessment of plateau bulldozer productivity and fuel consumption rate; b.
Assessment of driver working conditions;
Assessment of technical maintenance and repair convenience;
Evaluation of the stability of the performance of the plateau bulldozer. Test site
The test should always be carried out at a plateau operation site at an altitude of 2000 to 4000m. Test period and requirements
The duration of the industrial test of plateau bulldozers can be selected within the first overhaul period after the prototype leaves the factory according to the specific requirements for reliability indicators, and the time is set at 600h. Among them: the test at an altitude of more than 3000m is not less than 300h; the test in winter (below -15℃) is not less than 100h. 5.4 Test conditions.

5.8 Technical inspection
