This standard specifies the graphic symbols used in public information signs. This standard is applicable to tourism, public transportation, gardening, construction and publishing.

Some standard content:

This standard is not equivalent to the international standard ISO 7001:1990 Public Information Symbols. Except for the symbol for skiing in ISO 7001, which is yet to be adopted after testing, most of the symbols are equivalently adopted. This standard replaces GB 3818-83 and GB 10001-88. In addition to modifying some symbols in the original standard that are inconsistent with 1507001, 24 new graphic symbols are added to make the standard more complete. This standard shall be implemented on March 1, 1995. Appendix A of this standard is a prompt appendix.
This standard is proposed by the China Institute of Standardization and Information Classification and Coding. This standard is drafted by the National Technical Committee for Graphical Symbols, the China Institute of Standardization and Information Classification and Coding, the Travel Agency and Hotel Management Department of the National Tourism Administration, the First Scientific and Technical Research Institute of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Transportation Bureau of the Ministry of Railways, the Standard and Metrology Institute of the Ministry of Communications, the Science and Technology Quality Department of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, and the Science and Technology Department of the State Environmental Protection Administration.
This standard was drafted by Zhang Liang, Chen Yuanqiao. The original standards were issued in 1983 and 1988 respectively, and revised for the first time in 1994. 1 Scope

4 Drawing and production of graphic symbols signboards
4.1 The graphic symbols in the graphics in Table 1 and their relationship with the square side lines should be strictly followed and enlarged or reduced in proportion. 4.2 When the signboard is a stop square and its edge overlaps with the square side lines of the graphics in Table 1, the stop square side lines can be omitted. 4.3 The four corners of the square side lines of the graphics in Table 1 can be rounded, and the four sides of the square signboard can also be rounded. 4.4 The order of color selection for graphic line number signs is as follows: black graphics, white background;
white graphics, green, blue, black background; h.
blue, green graphics, white background;
On the premise of ensuring a strong contrast between the graphics and the background, the signboard with a gold screen carrier can use the carrier's original color as the background color. Approved by the State Technical Supervision Commission on October 17, 1994 and implemented on March 1, 1995
