Introduction to standards:

JB/T 8735.3-1998 This standard is a supplement to GB 5023.-~5023.7-1997 "Polyvinyl chloride insulated cables with rated voltages of 450/750V and below". The main technical parameters, basic test conditions and performance indicators of the products in this standard are in line with the provisions of GB 5023.1~5023.7-1997. This standard specifies the models, specifications, technical requirements and inspections of rubber insulated braided flexible wires. This standard is applicable to rubber insulated braided flexible wires for indoor lighting fixtures and household appliances with an AC rated voltage U0/U of 300/300V and below. In addition to meeting the technical requirements specified in this standard, cables should also meet the requirements of JB 8735.1. Some standard content:

JB8735.1~8735.3—1998
This standard is a supplement to GB5013.1~5013.7—1997 Rubber insulated cables with rated voltages of 450/750V and below. The products covered by this standard were originally specified in GB5013.2-85 and GB3958-83, but GB5013.1-5013.3-85, GB5013.4-87 and GB3958-83 have been revised. The revised GB5013.1~5013.7—1997 is equivalent to using Parts 1 to 7 of the IEC245 standard. Therefore, some products have not been included despite the demand in the domestic market and export trade. The main technical parameters, basic test conditions and performance indicators of the products in this standard are in line with the provisions of GB5013.1~5013.7--1997.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Wire and Cable Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting unit of this standard is Shanghai Cable Research Institute, Ministry of Machinery Industry. The main drafters of this standard are Zhu Hao, Zeng Quan and Zhu Yizhen. 1 Scope
Machinery Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Rubber insulated cords and flexible cables of rated voltages up to and including 450/750V Part 3: Rubber Insulated braided cords This standard specifies the models, specifications, technical requirements and inspections of rubber insulated braided cords. JB 8735. 3—1998
This standard is applicable to rubber insulated braided flexible cords for indoor lighting fixtures and household appliances with an AC rated voltage U./U of 300/300V and below.
In addition to meeting the technical requirements specified in this standard, the cables shall also meet the requirements of JB8735.1. 2 Reference standards
The following standards contain clauses that constitute the clauses of this standard by reference in this standard. At the time of publication of the standard, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB/T2951-1997 General test methods for cable insulation and sheath materials (idtIEC811-1993) GB5013.2-1997 Test methods for rubber insulated cables with rated voltages of 450/750V and below (idtIEC245-2--1994) JB8735.1-1998
