Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, dimensions, technical requirements and relevant use regulations of hand holes for plate-type slip-on flanges made of carbon steel.
This standard applies to hand holes for plate-type slip-on flanges with a nominal pressure PN less than or equal to 0.6MPa and a working temperature limited to the range specified in Table 3-2 according to the material category. Note: The working temperature in Table 3-2 is only applicable to the pressure-bearing parts of the hand holes, excluding gaskets. The working temperature of the gasket should be determined according to the cabinet gasket standard.
