The content of this standard adapts to the development of the tower manufacturing industry and the progress of processing technology, and adapts to international trade, technology and economic exchanges. This standard is a revision of GB2694-1981, with the following major revisions: a) Adjustment, addition and subtraction of some items and tolerances; The welding part is revised according to the provisions of GB50205-2001 "Code for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Steel Structure Engineering"; h) c) Added the provisions of fasteners; d) Modified the inspection rules; e) Added Appendix A (Normative Appendix); f) Added Appendix E (Normative Appendix). This standard replaces GB2694-1981 from the date of implementation. Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D and Appendix E of this standard are all normative appendices. This standard was proposed by the former Ministry of Electric Power. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Power Transmission and Transformation Equipment Branch of the China Electricity Council. The drafting units of this standard: Anshan Tower Manufacturing General Factory, Tower Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, and Anshan Tower Development and Research Center. The main drafters of this standard are Zhang Xianfeng, Li Changyue, Li Jinchun, Qi Jinming, Zhang Xinbo, Yang Yanguo, Wang Limin and Tang Xingmei. This standard was first issued on January 1, 1981. 1 Scope Technical conditions for the manufacture of transmission line towers GB/T2694—2003 This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods and packaging, marking, transportation and storage requirements in the manufacturing process of transmission line towers. This standard is applicable to the manufacture of transmission line towers, power microwave towers, communication towers and similar steel structures whose components are mainly made of angle steel and fasteners, and hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection. 2 Normative references The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through reference in this standard.
