GA/T556 "Financial Security Management Information Code" is divided into 10 parts: - Part 1 Classification and code of positions of personnel related to security work in financial institutions; - Part 2: Classification and code of money transport vehicles; - Part 3: Classification code of vaults; - Part 4: Category code of financial institutions, Part 5: Coding rules of financial institutions; - Part 6: Coding rules of savings banks (business outlets); - Part 7: Coding rules of ATM machines; - Part 8: Coding rules of vaults; - Part 9: Coding rules of documents; - Part 10, Coding rules of safety and protection facility certificates. This part is Part 5 of GA/T556.
This part is proposed by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. This part is under the jurisdiction of the Computer and Information Processing Standardization Committee of the Ministry of Public Security. Drafting units of this part: Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the 9th Division of the Public Security Department of Jilin Province, and Century Dragon Computer Software Development Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this part are Liu Wenxi, Yuan He, Liu Chengzhe, and You Wen. This part is interpreted by the Public Security Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security. 1 Scope

GB/T2260 Administrative Division Code of the People's Republic of China GA/T556.4 Financial Security Management Information Code Part 4: Financial Unit Category Code 3 Coding Rules
Financial unit code consists of 12 digits. The meaning of this code is: a) The first to sixth digits indicate the province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government), city (region, league), district (county, banner) where the financial unit is located, in accordance with the provisions of the administrative division code in GB/T2260; the seventh to eighth digits indicate the financial unit category code, in accordance with the provisions of GA/T556.4; b)
The ninth to twelfth digits indicate the sequence number of the financial unit in each district (county, banner). c)
