Note: Such as beer barrels, high-pressure gas cylinders, plastic pallets or crates. 3.2 Individual assetsindividualasset A physical entity with specific properties. Note: Such as aircraft parts, locomotives, tractors, etc. 3.3 Global returnable asset codeglobalreturnableassetidentifierGRAI In the commodity barcode system, the code used to uniquely identify returnable asset items worldwide. 3.4 Global individual asset codeglobalindividualassetidentifierGIAI In the commodity barcode system, the code used to uniquely identify individual assets worldwide. 4 Coding of assets 4.1 Coding of global recyclable assets 4.1.1 Code structure The coding of global recyclable assets consists of the required GRAI and the optional serial number, where the GRAI consists of a padding bit, a manufacturer identification code, an asset type code, and a check code, and is a 14-digit code with four structures, as shown in Table 1. The padding bit is a digit "0" (a digit added before the manufacturer identification code to ensure the 14-digit data structure of the global recyclable asset code); the manufacturer identification code consists of 7 to 10 digits; the asset type code consists of 5 to 2 digits; and the check code is a digit. When a single asset in a specific asset type is uniquely identified, the serial number is added after the GRAI, as shown in Table 1. The serial number consists of a 116-bit variable-length alphanumeric code. The character set of the alphanumeric code is shown in Appendix A. It is uniformly allocated by the China Article Coding Center. 4.1.2.2 Asset type code The asset type code is compiled by the asset owner who obtains the manufacturer identification code and ensures its uniqueness. 4.1.2.3 Check code The check code is calculated based on the first 13 digits of GRAI. The calculation method is shown in Appendix B. 4.1.2.4 Serial number The serial number is compiled by the asset owner who obtains the manufacturer identification code. 4.2 Global Single Asset Coding 4.2.1 Code Structure Serial Number (Optional) Xt*X,(j<16) X,\X,(Gj≤16) X,...X,(j<16) Xx,(j≤16) The global single asset code consists of two parts: the manufacturer identification code and the single asset reference code. It is a 30-digit alphanumeric code with four structures, see Table 2. Among them, the manufacturer identification code consists of 7 to 10 digits; the single asset reference code consists of 1 to 23 alphanumeric digits. The alphanumeric code character set is shown in Appendix A. Single asset reference code Xg*-X,(j≤30) Xg-X,(j≤30) Xu-X,(j≤30) XuX,(j≤30) Note: The global single asset code can be used for asset tracing by all parties involved, but is not used for identification of trade items or logistics units. 5 Barcode Representation The global recyclable asset code should be used together with the application identifier AI (8003), and the global single asset code should be used together with the application identifier AI (8004), and the UCC/EAN-128 barcode symbol should be used for representation. For application identifiers, see GB/T16986, and for UCC/EAN-128, see GB/T15425. Technical Requirements for Barcode Symbols 6.1 Size and Grade Requirements GB/T23833—2009 The minimum X dimension is 0.495mm and the maximum is 1.016mm. To improve scanning reliability, it is advisable to select a larger X dimension within the specified range. The height of the barcode symbol should be greater than or equal to 32mm. The symbol level of the barcode shall not be lower than 1.5/10/670. 6.2 Inspection and quality evaluation For the inspection and quality evaluation of barcodes, see GB/T18348. Application For the application example of asset identification code, see Appendix C3 httn: GB/T23833—2009 Appendix A (Normative Appendix) Digital alpha code character set For the coding representation, see GB/T1988, and for the digital alpha code character set, see Table A.1. Table A.1 Coding representation ht Digital alphanumeric code character set Coding representation Coding representation B.1 Code position number Appendix B (Normative appendix) Calculation method of check code GB/T23833—2009 The code position number refers to the sequence number from right to left including the check code (the code position number of the check code is 1). B.2 Calculation steps The calculation steps of the check code are as follows: Starting from code position number 2, sum the digital codes of all even digits. a) Multiply the sum of step a) by 3. Starting from code position number 3, sum the digital codes of all odd digits. c) Add the results of step b) and step c). d) e) Subtract the unit digit of the result obtained in step d) from 10 as the check code (if the unit digit is 0, the check code is 0). Example: 14-digit code 0690123456789X, the calculation of the check code is shown in Table B.1.
