3.1 Sieving
The process of separating discrete granular materials of different particle sizes by size using one or more sieves. 3.2 Size Analysis by Sieving The sample is separated into different particle sizes by sieving and the results are reported. 4 Overview
The test sieve is a sieve used for sieving and particle size analysis of granular materials. It is widely used in geological exploration, metallurgy and chemical industry, medicine, building materials, abrasives and other industries as well as scientific research institutes for particle size analysis and sieving tests. A set of test sieves consists of several sieves with different mesh sizes, a cover and a receiving tray, as shown in Figure 1. The arrangement of the mesh or mesh holes of the wire mesh test sieve and the metal perforated plate test sieve is shown in Figures 2, 3 and 4. 5 Measuring characteristics
