Soft (M), semi-hard (Y), hard (Y)
0.30~0.60
Wires with other specifications and allowable deviations can be supplied upon agreement between the two parties. 1.2.2
1.2.3 The deviation level of the wire must be clearly stated in the contract, otherwise it shall be supplied as level 5. 1.3 Manufacturing method
>0.60 ~1.00
21.00~3.00
Wire is made by drawing method. The required supply state must be specified in the contract, otherwise it is supplied in hard state. 1.4 Marking example
Semi-hard wire made of DN, with a true diameter of 1.5mm and a 5-level allowable deviation, is marked as: Wire DNY25-1.5GB3121—82
2 Technical requirements
2.1 Chemical composition
3.00~6.00
The chemical composition of the wire shall comply with the specifications of DN, NSi0.19, NMg0.1 and DNMg0.06 in YB144-71 "Chemical composition of nickel and nickel alloy products".
2.2 Surface Quality
Issued by the National Bureau of Standards on May 28, 1982
Implemented on March 1, 1983
GB3121-82
The surface of the wire should be smooth and clean, and should not have cracks, peeling, thorns, rough pulls, folds, scars and fire impurities. Minor local scratches, scratches, spots and pits and other defects should not make the wire diameter exceed its allowable deviation. Large lubrication marks can be washed on hard wires, and slight hair and slight rear oxidation color of soft wires are not used as scrapping basis. 2.3 Wire Fracture
The wire fracture should be dense, without shrinkage, pores, stratification and inclusions. The supplier may not conduct fracture inspection, but must guarantee it. 2.4 Mechanical Properties
The tensile test results of the wire should comply with the provisions of Table 3. Table 3

3 Test method
GB 3121-82
3.1 The arbitration analysis of chemical composition shall be in accordance with the agreement between the supplier and the buyer. 3.2 The tensile test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB228-76 "Metal Tensile Test Method". 4 Inspection rules
4.1 The wire rod shall be inspected and accepted by the supplier's technical supervision department, and the product quality shall be guaranteed to meet the requirements of this standard. 4.2 Each batch of wire rods shall be composed of the same brand, specification and state, and the batch shall not exceed 500kg. 4.3 The diameter of each reel (spool) of wire shall be measured and the appearance shall be inspected with the naked eye. 4.4 For the tensile test, two rolls (axles) of wire are taken from each batch, and one sample is taken from each roll (axle). 4.5 Even if one sample fails the test result in each test, double the number of samples should be taken from the batch for retesting the unqualified item. If even one sample fails the retest result, the whole batch shall be scrapped or reel (axle) shall be inspected, and the qualified ones shall be individually batched for acceptance.
5 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
Marking, packaging, transportation and storage shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of YB730-70 "General Methods for Packaging, Marking, Transportation and Storage of Heavy Nonferrous Metal Processing Products".
Additional Notes:
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard was drafted by the Shanhai Nonferrous Metals Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Ji Shitai, Dai Kegou and Gao Daolin. From the date of implementation of this standard, the former Ministry of Metallurgical Industry Standard YB564-70 "Nickel and Nickel Alloy Wire" shall be invalid.
