Raw Materials for Electrical Porcelain
1. Subject Content and Scope of Application
Zuoyun Clay Ore
JB/T5893.3-91
This standard specifies the technical performance indicators, test methods, inspection rules and storage and transportation procedures of Zuoyun clay ore (referred to as raw ore) in Shanxi Province. This standard applies to Zuoyun clay ore, a raw material for manufacturing high and low voltage electrical porcelain and ceramics. Note:
Ore refers to the raw material that has not been processed after mining. 2 Reference standardswwW.bzxz.Net

3 Terminology
General rules for sampling and sample preparation of bulk mineral products
General provisions for packaging, marking and quality certificates of metallurgical mineral productsChemical analysis methods for clay and high-alumina refractory materialsPhysical properties test methods for raw materials for electrical porcelain
3.1 True density: the ratio of the mass of dry materials to the true volume. 3.2 Plasticity index: the difference between the liquid limit and plastic limit of clay or bad materials. 3.3 Liquid limit: the moisture content of clay when it enters the flow state from the plastic state. 3.4 Bonding strength: A certain amount of quartz sand with a certain particle size is added to the clay powder, and water is added to make a plastic clay mass, which is processed into a sample of a certain specification. After drying, the bending strength of the sample is measured. 4 Technical indicators
4.1 The chemical composition of the original ore shall comply with the provisions of Table 1 Table 1 Chemical composition
The physical properties of the original ore shall comply with the provisions of Table 2.

Original ore: Mainly gray, gray-black soft block, slippery, mixed with a small amount of quartz sandstone and brown-yellow iron-containing clay impurities. After burning: yellowish white, beige, with brown iron particles. 4.3 The mineral composition of the raw ore is composed of kaolinite, quartz, and a small amount of muscovite. Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry on October 24, 1991 and implemented on October 1, 1992
Test method
JB/T5893.3-91
The chemical composition analysis of the raw ore shall be carried out in accordance with GB6900.1~6900.11. The physical property test of the raw ore shall be carried out in accordance with JB/T5893.5. The mineral composition of the raw ore is recommended to be tested by X-ray diffraction method. Inspection rules
The quality of the raw ore shall be inspected by the technical inspection department of the supplier in accordance with this standard. The raw ore leaving the factory shall meet the requirements of this standard. 6.2 Each batch of raw ore shall be inspected in accordance with the provisions of Article 4.1 and Article 4.2. Article 4.3 of this standard stipulates the irregular inspection items, and the supplier shall provide an appraisal report. 6.3 Batch: Each batch shall not exceed 200t, and each batch shall be an inspection unit. 6.4 The sampling of raw ore shall be carried out in accordance with GB2007.1~2007.2, or no less than 20 bags shall be randomly sampled from each batch, and the total amount of samples shall not be less than 5kg.
6.5 If the buyer has any objection to the quality of the raw ore, or the inspection result does not meet the standard, it shall be submitted to the supplier within one month after receiving the raw ore, and the supply and demand parties shall jointly conduct re-inspection in accordance with the provisions of this standard. 7. Storage, transportation and quality certificate
Storage, transportation and quality certificate shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of GB5689. Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed by the National Insulator Standardization Committee and is under the jurisdiction of the Xi'an Electric Ceramics Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry. This standard was drafted by the Xi'an Electric Ceramics Research Institute. The main drafter of this standard is Zhou Ruxin.
