1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for cigarette packaging and marking, as well as the storage and transportation requirements for cigarettes. This standard applies to cigarettes.

This standard uses the following definitions.

The smallest packaging unit consisting of cigarettes. It can contain a number of cigarettes (usually 20 cigarettes) and is divided into soft boxes and hard boxes. 3.2 Carton
The smallest packaging unit consisting of a box. Several boxes (usually 10 boxes) of cigarettes can be packed into it. The hard packaging is called a carton and the soft packaging is called a carton pack.
3.3 Case
The smallest packaging unit consisting of cartons. Several cartons (usually 50 cartons) of cigarettes can be packed into it. 3.4 Warning sentence

4 Technical Requirements
4.1 General Conditions
4.1.1 The graphics and text on the cigarette packaging should comply with the provisions of the Trademark Law, and the Chinese characters should comply with the national standard text requirements; the numbers used should be Arabic numerals.
4.1.2 The province (city) name and the name of the manufacturer should be written. The front of the package must be written in Chinese characters. When the province (city) name and the company name are the same, the province (city) name can be omitted. The province name and the company name are separated by ".". Representation method: province name·company name+product example:
Yunnan·Yuxi Cigarette Factory;

4.1.3 The length of the cigarette: mm.
4.2.1 The production date should be marked on the box.
4.2.2 The number of cigarettes: ××××× (pieces). 4.2.3 Method of indicating box specifications: length (mm) × width (mm) × height (mm). 4.2.4 The front of the box packaging should indicate the cigarette brand, manufacturer name, address, type, number of cigarettes and cigarette specifications. 4.2.5 The box packaging safety signs should comply with national unified regulations. 4.3 Cartons and boxes
4.3.1 The registration mark \R” should be marked on the upper right corner of the front of the carton and box packaging. 4.3.2 The manufacturer name should comply with the provisions of 4.1.2. 4.3.3 Method of indicating the number of cigarettes:
Carton packaging: ××× (sticks);
Box packaging: ×× (sticks).
4.3.4 The type of cigarette should be indicated as one of the following: flue-cured tobacco type;
mixed type;
external flavor type;
cigar type.
4.3 .5 The tar content should be expressed as ××mg or ×mg. 4.3.6 The nicotine content in smoke should be expressed as ×.×mg. 4.3.7 The barcode on the bar and box packaging should comply with GB12904 and the code segments assigned by the national tobacco regulatory authorities. 4.3.8 The packaging should be marked with the main trademark pattern and registration mark, the name of the manufacturer, type, number of cigarettes, tar content, nicotine content in smoke, and aphorisms.
4.4 Box packaging
4.4.1 Box packaging should have a product quality certificate. 4.4.2 Various printings on the box surface The markings should be clear and complete, and should not be misprinted or missing. The seal should be firm. 4.4.3 The cigarette cartons in the box should be arranged neatly, and should not be mispacked or underpacked. 4.4.4 The inner wall of the box should not stick to the carton or carton pack. 4.4.5 The carton packaging should be complete.
4.5 Carton Packing
4.5.1 The appearance of the carton should be square, and the difference in the length of each corresponding side should be less than 3.0mm. 4.5.2 The various markings on the surface of the carton and the horizontal head of the carton pack should be clear and complete, and should not be misprinted or missing. 4.5.3 The carton and carton pack should be firmly pasted and The surface should be clean and wrinkle-free; there should be no stains of a length not less than 5.0mm, or less than 5.0mm but not more than two spots.
4.5.4 The horizontal header of the strip package should be firmly and neatly sealed, and no damaged horizontal header should be pasted; the horizontal header should not be pasted upside down, multiple or wrongly, and the length of the horizontal header paper exposed outside the end surface of the strip package should be less than 1.5mm.
4.5.5 The transparent paper on the outer packaging of the strip box should be tightly, firmly and neatly attached, and the distance between it and the trademark paper should not be greater than 3.0mm, and the surface should be wrinkle-free and damaged: 318

The drawstring should not be unable to be pulled apart, should not be broken, or should the transparent paper fall apart after being pulled apart. 4.5.6 The strips of boxes, strips of bags, or the inner wall of the strips of boxes and strips of bags and the small boxes should not be damaged after being pulled apart due to adhesion. 4.5.7 The strips of boxes and strips of bags should not be damaged or the small boxes should not be exposed more than 2.0mm. 4.5.8 The strips of boxes and strips of bags should not be wrongly packed or underpacked. 4.5.9 The packaging of the strips of boxes and strips of bags should be complete.
4.6 Box packaging
4.6.1 It should have Have good sealing and moisture-proof properties. 4.6.2 The shape should be square, and the difference in length of each corresponding side should be less than 2.0mm. 4.6.3 Various printed marks should be clear and complete, and should not be misprinted or missed. 4.6.4 There should be no oily trademark paper, the surface should be clean, and there should be no stains with a length of not less than 3.0mm, or less than 3.0mm, but not more than two spots.
4.6.5 The seal of the soft box should be centered and affixed correctly, and the deviation from the center on the left and right or front and back ends should be less than 2.0mm. 4.6.6 The seal of the soft box should be firmly and neatly pasted; no damaged seals should be affixed; no seals should be affixed upside down, multiple or wrong; the protruding part of the seal should not be greater than 1.0mm; the pinholes of the trademark paper should not be exposed. 4.6.7 The transparent paper on the outer packaging of the box should be tightly attached, firm and neat, and the distance between it and the trademark paper should not be greater than 2.0mm. The surface should be free of wrinkles and damage; the drawstring should be intact and in good condition, and the drawstring should not be unable to be pulled open, broken or the transparent paper should not spread out after being pulled open; the distance between the inner ends of the drawstring joint should be less than 2.0mm. 4.6.8 The soft box should be pasted neatly, and the vertical package misalignment should not be greater than 2.0mm, and the horizontal package misalignment should not be greater than 1.0mm; the soft box should not be exposed, and the surface should not have concave corners with a depth greater than 1.0mm.
4.6.9 The small boxes should not be damaged after being pulled apart due to adhesion. 4.6.10 The small boxes should be firmly and neatly pasted, the overlap should not be warped, and the surface should be clean and wrinkle-free. 4.6.11 The width of the exposed white corners of the hard box should be less than 1.0mm. 4.6.12 The inner lining paper of the soft box should not be more than 2.0mm higher than the trademark paper; the trademark paper should be less than 1.0mm higher than the inner lining paper; there should not be multiple sheets of trademark paper packaging.
4.6.13 The small box should not be damaged, and the cigarettes should not be exposed; the length of the overlapped corner damage should not be greater than 3.0mm, or even if it is less than 3.0mm, it should not be more than two points.
4.6.14 The cigarettes in the box should not be upside down, wrongly loaded, multiple, missing, or broken; there should be no cigarettes with a length less than the design value of 5.0mm. Note: Broken cigarettes refer to filter cigarettes without filters and broken cigarettes. 4.6.15 There should be no insects in the box, and the cigarettes should not be worm-eaten. 4.6.16 Small box packaging should be complete.
4.7 Other forms of packaging should meet the corresponding technical requirements. 5 Sampling
Laboratory samples shall be taken and test specimens shall be prepared in accordance with GB/T5606.1. 6 Test method
Test in accordance with YC/T28.1.
7 Inspection rules
7.1 Case packaging: If one case does not meet the technical requirements of case design or case packaging, the case shall be deemed unqualified. 7.2 Strip packaging: If one strip does not meet the technical requirements of strip design or strip packaging, the strip shall be deemed unqualified. 7.3 Box packaging: If one box does not meet the technical requirements of box design or box packaging, the box shall be deemed unqualified. 7.4 The maximum score and unit deduction value for box packaging, strip packaging and box packaging are shown in Table 1.319

7.5 The maximum score of the item (see Table 1) minus its unqualified deduction points is equal to the score of the item. If the score is less than 0, it will be counted as 0.
7.6 If any of the following situations occurs, the batch of cigarettes will be judged as unqualified products. Wrong packing in boxes;
wrong packing of whole cartons;
wrong cigarettes in boxes;
missing cartons in boxes;
missing cigarettes in boxes with more than four cartons,
more than 10 broken cigarettes,
more than one box of insects or insect-eaten cigarettes. Part Two Storage
8 Storage
8.1 The warehouse for storing cigarettes should be clean and odor-free. The warehouse should have temperature and humidity conditions and fire-fighting facilities to maintain the quality of cigarettes. 8.2 Cigarettes should not be stored together with toxic, flammable and other chemicals. 8.3 The distance between the cigarette boxes stored in the warehouse and the ground should not be less than 200mm, and the distance between the cigarette boxes and the wall should not be less than 300mm. Appropriate passages should be left in the warehouse. The stacking height of cigarette boxes should not exceed 5 boxes. 8.4 Cigarettes in the warehouse should be first-in-first-out. Moisture content should be checked regularly in accordance with YC/T28.8. 9 Transportation
9.1 Cigarettes should not be transported together with perishable, odorous, toxic and wet items. 9.2 The tools used to transport cigarettes should be dry, clean and odorless. During transportation, they should be protected from rain, moisture, exposure to the sun, squeezing and severe vibration. 9.3 When loading and unloading cigarettes, they should be handled with care and the cigarette boxes should not be damaged. When loading and bundling boxes, protective facilities should be provided. 320
