This standard specifies the types and basic parameters of chamber filter press and plate-frame filter press (hereinafter referred to as filter press). This standard applies to horizontal filter presses.

3 Types and basic parameters of filter presses
3.1 Types
3.1.1 Filter presses are divided into the following two types according to the filter elements that make up the filter chamber: a. Plate and frame filter press, whose filter chamber structure is shown in Figure 1, and b.

3.1.2 Filter presses are divided into horizontal filter presses and vertical filter presses according to the arrangement of filter elements. 3.1.3 Filter presses are divided into open flow type and dark flow type according to the discharge method of liquid. 3.1.4 For the spacing between the filter plate and the inner side of the beam, please refer to Appendix A (reference) Figures A1 to A3 and Table A1. For the types and sizes of filter plates, please refer to Figures A4 to A12 and Tables A2 to A4 in Appendix A (reference). 3.2 Basic parameters
3.2.1 The filter plate size, filtration area and filtration pressure of the filter press are divided into the first series and the second series. Tables 1, 2 and 3 are for the first series, and Table 1 is for the second series.
