National Standard of the People's Republic of China Ship sound rocket signal Exmlosive rocket signal Ior ships1 Subject content and scope of application GB 3107. 7--91 Replaces GB3107.7~82 This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of ship sound rocket signals. This standard applies to the sound rocket signals used by ships when they are in distress or warning, and it meets the 1972 International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. 2 Reference standards GB3107.1 General technical conditions for ship pyrotechnic signals3 Product classification 3.1 Type and size 3.1.1 Ship sound pyrotechnic signals are rocket-propelled, pulled or fired sound pyrotechnic signals. Its main components include: rocket thruster; signal charge: body and guide tube; charge box and detonation system: connecting parts: f. Safety cover and top cover. 3.1.2 Rocket engine is composed of rocket body, ignition charge, propellant, etc. 3.1.3 The outer diameter of the ship's sound rocket signal shall not exceed 50mm, the total length shall not exceed 295mm, and the total mass shall not exceed 450g. 3.2 Marking example The sound rocket signal (SXJ) propelled by a rocket to 300m in the air and emitting an audible distance of 5nme is marked as: SXJ 5-300 GB 3107. 7--91 4 Technical requirements The manufacture of ship's sound rocket signal must comply with the relevant requirements of Chapter 4 of GB3107.1. 4.1# 4.2 After the product is pulled, it is propelled by a rocket to 300m in the air, making a strong explosion sound. 4.3 The signal charge column is made of stable gunpowder. 4.4 The safety cover and the top cover should be treated with anti-corrosion and anti-rust. 4.5 This product should work effectively after repeating 10 cycles under the environmental stimulus of -30~~+65℃. 4.6 It should be able to withstand low temperature of -30℃ and high temperature of +65℃ respectively, and work effectively under this environmental temperature. 4.7 It can work effectively under any sea conditions of high temperature of +65℃ and relative humidity of 90%. 4.8 This product should work effectively after being immersed in water horizontally for 1m for 24h. 4.9 This product should be able to withstand the salt spray test of 20% NaCI solution. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on May 22, 1991 and implemented on March 1, 1992 GB 3107.7—91 4.10 This product should be safe and reliable when ignited, and its initial thrust should be appropriate. It should not harm the operator and nearby personnel when ignited. 4.11 After the product is dropped freely from a height of 2m according to the specified test method, it is still in a safe state and works effectively. 5 Test method The test method of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB3107.1 6 Inspection rules 6.1 The inspection rules of this product shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 6 of GB3107.1. 6.2 The items, technical requirements and sampling quantity of this product shall be in accordance with the requirements specified in the table below. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Lifesaving Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Marine Vessels. This standard was drafted by the Standards and Metrology Institute of the Ministry of Communications and Nanjiang Machinery Factory.
