3.1 Vehicle
Refers to two-wheeled vehicles, sidecars, pedicabs and mopeds. 3.2 Controls (devices)

4.1 Requirements for main control parts (devices)
4.1.1 Engine control devices
4.1.1.1 Ignition switch
For rotary switches, the direction from the ignition "off" position to the ignition "on" position should be clockwise. 4.1.1.2 Ignition/starter combination switch
For rotary switches, the direction from the ignition "off" position to the ignition "on" position and then to the start position should be clockwise. 4.7.7.3 Throttle controller
The engine speed should be adjustable by the throttle controller; the location of the controller: on the right grip of the steering handle or on the right side of the frame; the type of controller: handlebar or pedal.
4.1.7.4 Stopping
The engine should be stopped by turning off the engine ignition switch or operating the relevant device. 4.1.2 Braking
4.1.2.1 Front wheel brake
Location of the control device: in front of the right side of the steering wheel; Type of control device: hand lever.

4.1.2.4 Combined brake

When the vehicle has the conditions for front (wheel) braking and rear (wheel) braking, a combined brake control device may be used, and its position and type shall comply with the requirements of 4.1.2.1, 4.1.2.2 or 4.1.2.3. 4.1.2.5 Parking brake
Three-wheeled motorcycles shall be equipped with parking brakes.

4.1.3 Clutch
a. Manual control device
Location of the control device: on the left front of the steering handle; Type of control device: hand lever.
b. Foot control device
Location of the control device: on the left side of the frame; Type of control device: pedal.
4.1.4 Transmission
4.1.4.1 Mechanical gear shift

Whether the gear shift and clutch control devices are separate or combined, they shall comply with the following requirements: Position of the control device: on the left side of the frame; Type of the control device: foot control lever.
b. Manual gear shift device
Position of the control device: on the right side of the frame; Type of the control device: hand control lever.
c. Gear shift device combined with manual clutch
Position of the control device: on the left side of the steering handle; Type of the control device: hand control lever combined with the turning handle. 4.1.4.2 Automatic gear shift
When equipped with automatic or semi-automatic transmission, the type of automatic gear shift is the combination of speed change and gear shift. 4.1.5 Lighting and signaling devices
4.1.5.1 Horn
Location of the control device: on the left side of the steering handle or on the steering wheel; Type of the control device: button.
4.1.5.2 Headlamp and position lamp control switch When the switch is operated, the vehicle position lamps and headlamps are turned on successively. This control switch may be combined with the ignition switch. 4.1.5.3 High beam/low beam switch
Location of the switch: on the left side of the steering handle, on the instrument panel or on the steering wheel; Type of the switch: push-button type, etc.
This switch may be combined with the headlamp and position lamp control switch. 4.1.5.4 Conversion lamp switch
Location of the switch: on the steering handle, on the instrument panel or on the steering wheel; Type of the switch: push-button type, etc.
Operation method: For a push-button type switch, if the key is pushed to the left, the vehicle turns left, and if the key is pushed to the right, the vehicle turns right. 4.1.6 Oil drain switch

4.1.6.1 The oil drain switch should be able to distinguish between the open, closed and standby positions. When the oil drain switch is in the "ON" position, the oil tank is drained; when the oil drain switch is in the "OFF" position, the oil is cut off; when the oil drain switch is in the "RES" position, the standby oil is drained. 4.1.6.2 Oil drain switch position: The driver should be able to operate it when sitting in the driving position. 4.1.7 The cold start device (manual choke) should generally be located on the left side of the steering handle.
4.1.8 The wiper switch
Should be on the instrument panel or the wiper motor.
4.2 General design requirements
4.2.1 When the driver is in the driving position, all operating devices should be within the reach of the driver's hands and feet, and their positions and types should comply with the requirements of 4.1.
4.2.2 When designing the position of the control device on the handlebar, the driver should be able to operate it without removing his hand from the handle. 4.2.3 The dimensions between the joystick and pedal and the relevant components of the vehicle shall comply with the requirements of Appendix A (Supplement). 4.2.4 Other components of the vehicle shall not be allowed to hinder the driver from operating the control device. 4.2.5 The graphic symbols of the vehicle's control devices, indicators and signal devices shall comply with the provisions of GB15365. 269

Special dimensional requirements for joysticks and pedals
(Supplement)
A1.1 The maximum dimension L from the center point of the rear surface of the handle to the corresponding point on the front surface of the hand joystick measured in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the handle shall not be greater than 135mm (see Figure A1.a).
A1.2 The minimum dimension L (gap) from the center point of the front surface of the grip to the corresponding point on the rear surface of the joystick shall not be less than 45 mm (see Figure Al.b).
A1.3 When the hand lever is in the maximum compression position, the dimension L of its end relative to the end of the grip shall not be greater than 30 mm (see Figure A1.c).
A2 Foot lever and pedal
A2.1 Foot lever
A2.1.1 The dimension L from the center line of the foot lever arm to the front surface of the foot lever shall not be greater than 200 mm (see Figure A2). A2.1.2 The dimension Ls from the center line of the foot lever arm to the front surface of the foot lever shall not be less than 105 mm (see Figure A2). A2.1.3 The dimension L from the center line of the foot lever arm to the rear surface of the foot lever shall not be greater than 200 mm and shall not be less than 60 mm (see Figure A3).
A2.1.4 The dimension L from the front surface of the foot lever arm to the rear surface of the foot lever shall not be greater than 100 mm and shall not be less than 50 mm (see Figure A3). A2.2 Pedals
A2.2.1 Vehicles with footrests
The maximum dimension L of the rear surface of the pedal cover from any point on the rear surface of the footrest shall not be greater than 170 mm (see Figure A4). A2.2.1.2 The minimum dimension L (gap) from the rear surface of the pedal cover to any point on the front surface of the footrest shall not be less than 50 mm (see Figure A4).
A2.2.2 Vehicles with platforms
A2.2.2.1 The vertical distance L1o from the platform surface to the highest point of the pedal bushing shall not be greater than 105 mm (see Figure A5). A2.2.2.2 The dimension L1 of the outer end surface of the pedal cover protruding from the outer end of the platform shall not be greater than 25 mm (see Figure A5). 270
