B.1 The major category codes of file formats are uniformly assigned by the China Institute of Standardization and Information Classification and Coding and are responsible for centralized management. B.2 The category and subcategory codes of file formats can be determined by the standardization authorities of the major category file format systems and reported to the China Institute of Standardization and Information Classification and Coding for registration and filing.
