GB/T21782 "Powder coatings" is divided into 14 parts, this part is the 8th part of GB/T21782. This part is equivalent to the international standard ISO8130-8:1994 "Powder coatings Part 8: Evaluation of storage stability of thermosetting powders" (English version). This standard specifies the evaluation of storage stability of thermosetting powders. It specifies the evaluation test procedures for the physical state and chemical activity retention of thermosetting powder coatings and the ability to form a satisfactory final coating. The correlation between different performance changes is unpredictable. Similarly, there is no correlation between the test results obtained under different storage conditions. GB/T21782.8—2008/1S0 8130-8:1994 Introduction Powder coatings are subject to two different aging mechanisms: one involving the physical state of the powder, and one involving the chemical activity of the powder. Changes in powder coatings can lead to deterioration of the physical and chemical properties of the final coating. This part specifies test procedures for evaluating the tendency of changes in the physical and chemical properties of thermosetting powder coatings after being subjected to specified storage conditions. 1 Scope GB/T21782.8--2008/1SO8130-8:1994 Powder coatings Part 8: Evaluation of storage stability of thermosetting powders This part of GB/T 21782 specifies the evaluation of the storage stability of thermosetting powders. It specifies test procedures for evaluating the retention of the physical state and chemical activity of thermosetting powder coatings and their ability to form a satisfactory final coating. The relationship between the changes in the different properties cannot be predicted. Similarly, in different The test results obtained under storage conditions are not relevant. The test results obtained by the procedures specified in this part illustrate the ability of powder coatings to withstand storage time limits before application. 2 Normative references The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this part through reference to this part of GB/T 21782. The changes in the free flow properties of the powder coating are recorded, and the agglomeration or caking is recorded according to the specified grade table. The changes in the ability of the powder to react chemically and any changes in its ability to form a satisfactory final coating are then evaluated. The conditions at the bottom of the container are simulated by applying a weight to the sample. Note: If a certain property of the sample has been shown to deteriorate to an unsatisfactory level, no further tests are required. 4 Supplementary information required For any specific application area, the test methods specified in this section need to be improved by supplementary information. The items of this supplementary information are given in Appendix A. 5 Apparatus 5.1 Air circulation oven Should be maintained in the temperature range of 30℃ + 0.5℃ or 40℃ + 0.5℃. A water bath can also be used, but the sample should be carefully sealed to prevent water from entering. 1 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
