4 uses and performance
4.1 Chuck type CNC horizontal lathe

4.1.1 The type of CNC horizontal lathe (universal type) is shown in Figure 1. Figure 1 CNC horizontal lathe (universal type)
CNC horizontal lathe (universal type) is the basic series of CNC horizontal lathes. It is suitable for various machinery manufacturing industries to process rotations composed of straight lines and arcs. Single piece or batch production of individual parts. Lathes shall have the following performance characteristics:
a. It has the function of pre-programming to complete a semi-automatic working cycle. If equipped with an automatic loading and unloading device, it can complete an automatic working cycle or be incorporated into a flexible manufacturing cell (FMC);
b. The multi-station turret tool holder can automatically select logical positions. Each station can perform multiple different work steps. Cutting lathes usually have 2-axis or 4-axis control and can perform linear interpolation and arc interpolation. The tool holder With corresponding position (positioning, repeated positioning, reverse error) accuracy;
d. The main drive of lathes is mostly an AC spindle motor (ACSpindlemotarr) with continuously variable speed. The same spindle motor should have two powers (cont/ED) of continuous operation and intermittent operation. The accuracy of the lathe should comply with the regulations of GB/T16462 or the accuracy specified by the user. e. The lathe can also add an auxiliary spindle, C-axis (spindle indexing, directional parking), and power tool table to expand the lathe's process range. 4.1.2 CNC horizontal chuck lathe

4.1.3 CNC horizontal tool chuck lathe

This lathe has a short bed, generally does not have a turret tool holder, and has multiple sets of tool holders arranged on a long horizontal slide, which can be used for disc-type workpieces. The lathe should have the following performance characteristics:

The type of CNC horizontal tool bar lathe is the same as the CNC horizontal tool chuck lathe except for the workpiece clamping method. CNC horizontal bar lathe is the basic series of CNC horizontal lathes.
