1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the type and size of spiral wound gaskets for pipeline flanges. This standard is applicable to relay-wound gaskets for pipeline flanges with a nominal pressure PN of 2.5~10.0MPa. 2 Reference standards

This standard is proposed by the Machinery Standardization Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry. This standard was drafted by the Machine Board Standardization Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry and Beijing Huaguang Seals Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Li Junmei, Ye Baolong and Li Xinhua. From the date of implementation of this standard, the original JB90-59 "Metal Gasket for Sealing Surface Lens Type Flange" is invalid. 107
