Some standard content:

GB4839-1998
This international standard stipulates 706 generic names of pesticides, and revise and complete 264 generic names in GB839-84, totaling 1090. These 100 newly formulated and revised generic names of pesticides include all the returned pesticide varieties so far, and also include the pesticide varieties used abroad and the new products developed during the period of certification. They are divided into eight categories, including insecticides, acaricides, synergists, rodenticides, fungiicides, herbicides, weed control agents and weed growth regulators. The content of the pesticide generic name standard includes the Chinese generic name, the corresponding international generic name, the chemical name and (AS registration number) the formulation of the Chinese generic name strictly abides by the naming principles and procedures of the generic name of pesticides, and integrates the naming principles of the international generic name of pesticides. The international common name adopts the English common name of pesticides formulated by the International Organization for Standardization. For those that do not use the written common name formulated by the International Organization for Standardization, the English names used by the United States, the United Kingdom, and the relevant academic organizations of these countries are listed and annotated. The chemical name follows the "Principles of Organic Chemical Nomenclature" (Chinese Chemical Society No. 980). This standard replaces GB4839-84 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China; the standard is drafted by the Shenyang Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry; this standard is under the jurisdiction of the Shenyang Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry; the main drafters of this standard are: Sha Jiajun, Wang Xuecheng, Hou Yukai, Lou Shaowei. :
