This standard specifies the technical requirements, test conditions, test methods and test equipment for the wear performance test of motorcycle transmission chains. This standard applies to drive transmission chains used on various motorcycles (including other walking machinery) manufactured in accordance with GB/T14212-93. Transmission chains manufactured in accordance with other standards may be implemented as a reference. 2 Referenced standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards. GB/T1243·-1997 Precision roller chains and sprockets for short pitch transmission GB9785--88 Terms for chains and sprockets

3 Terms
Chain terms shall comply with the provisions of GB9785-88.
4 Technical requirements
4.1 The wear performance test of motorcycle transmission chains shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4.2 If the chain plates, rollers, bushings, and pins are broken or crushed during the wear test, they shall be treated as unqualified. 4.3 The joints of the test chain shall be connected reliably. If the joints are broken during the test, the test shall be invalid. Approved by the State Bureau of Machinery Industry on September 30, 1998 76

Whole chain (100) links) Wear elongation
Initial wear test
1) It is allowed to measure the wear elongation of the test chain with a chain link number not shorter than that specified in Table 2, and convert it. 5 Test conditions
The wear performance test of motorcycle transmission chain should be carried out on a wear test bench. 5.2 The test chain drive should be arranged horizontally.
5.3 Test sprocket teeth: small sprocket = 19 teeth, large sprocket 2 = 57 teeth. 5.4 Test sprocket tooth shape should comply with GB/T1243, and the two sprockets should remain coplanar during the test. Normal wear test
5.5 Test chain section number: L, 100 sections. In special cases, the test chain section number is allowed to be shorter than 100 sections, and the insufficient part can be connected in series with chain segments of the same specification
5.6 During the test, the sag of the loose side of the chain should be 1%~~3% of the center distance of the chain drive. 5.7 Lubricating oil brand No. 20 machine oil is used for lubrication and cooling. The lubricating oil should be kept clean and free of pollution, and no abrasive particles should be present. 5.8 Test environment temperature: -5~70℃.
6 Test method
6.1 The length of the test chain should be measured before the test, and the measuring points should be marked. During the test, the measuring points shall be measured according to the test time specified in Table 1. The minimum number of measured links and the measured load shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. The measurement shall be carried out according to the method specified in GB/T14212.
6.2 The joints of the test chain shall be marked. 77

Chain wear test benches are divided into closed test benches and open test benches. It is recommended to use a closed chain wear test bench. 7.2 The spindle speed error of the wear test bench shall be ±1% of the specified test speed. 7.3 The torque error of the wear test bench loader shall be ±1% of the specified torque. 7.4 During the test of the wear test bench, the spindle speed and test load shall remain stable and constant. The wear test bench speed meter and torque meter should be calibrated regularly to ensure the consistency between the actual speed and torque values and the instrument display values. 7.5
7.6 The wear test bench should be installed in a dust-free and clean environment without external impact and vibration, with relatively stable indoor temperature.
