According to the arrangement of the Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Chemical Process Piping Design Technology Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry organized the compilation of the design standards and technical regulations for the chemical process piping design profession as a ministerial directive technical document to guide the design and manufacture of process piping. This standard is edited by Feng Shuyuan of the Chemical Process Piping Design Technology Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. Tang Shixuan checked and Xia Dekai reviewed. 1 General
This standard applies to pipe fittings with longitudinal weld chains made of carbon steel, low alloy steel and austenitic stainless steel plates, including tees (equal diameter and reducing diameter), elbows (short radius 90° and long radius 90%, 45°), and reducers (concentric and eccentric), which are divided into two series: [and 1.
According to the current domestic production needs and manufacturing possibilities, the diameter ranges of three types of pipe fittings are determined: the nominal diameters of equal-diameter (reducing-diameter) tee main pipes, elbows, and reducers are from 300 to 1000 mm (12″ to 40), and the nominal diameters of reducing tee branches and reducers are from 150 to 900 mm (6 to 36*). The wall thickness series of pipe fittings are listed in Table A1 and Table A2 in Appendix A for reference by manufacturers and users.
