This nomenclature is named according to the purpose or processing method, characteristic properties, additives, type and content of fillers, and product series number or other properties that need to be indicated of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) thermoplastic materials.

3.1 A certain polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) thermoplastic material, for injection molding (M), flame retardant (F), without colorant (natural color, N), with glass fiber as filler (G), filler content 33% (m/m) (35), is named: PBTMFN-G35. 3.2 A certain polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) thermoplastic material, for extrusion molding (F), anti-warping (W), with colorant (C), with talcum powder as filler (T), filler content 15% (m/m) (15), is named: PBTEWC-T15.
