This standard is revised and adjusted to the industry standard based on the original national standard GB4037-1983 "Watch Hairspring". During the revision process, some technical elements of the standard were adjusted and modified. The main differences between this standard and the original GB4037-1983 are: the thickness dimension series of the hairspring is specified, the limit deviation of the inner pile and the outer pile is increased; the factory inspection and type inspection are increased.
This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard specifies the product classification technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of watch hairsprings (referred to as "hairssprings").

3 Product classification
The hairspring is divided into 1, I, and straight categories according to the watch classification method specified in 3.1 of QB/T1249~—1991. Its specifications, dimensions and deviations are as follows. 3.1 Thickness

5 Test method
5.1 Dimensional accuracy

5.1.1 The hairspring pitch deviation shall be measured with a 50× projector, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.1. 5.1.2 The inner pile diameter of the hairspring shall be measured with a plug gauge or a 50× projector (the inner pile diameter is based on the non-cut surface of the inner pile), and the inner pile height shall be measured with a 50× projector, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.2. 5.1.3 The outer diameter of the outer pile of the hairspring shall be measured with a dry ruler, and the length of the outer pile shall be measured with a 50× projector, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.3. 5.2 Physical properties
The hairspring temperature coefficient and anti-magnetic performance tests shall be carried out in accordance with the corresponding provisions of mechanical watches in QB/T1249, and the results shall comply with the provisions of 4.2.
5.3 Fixed length
After the hairspring is fixed in length on the fixed length instrument with a standard balance wheel, the outer diameter size and the inner and outer end clamps The angle is inspected with a 50× projector or a 30× tool microscope, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.3.
5.4 Assembly quality
5.4.1 The plane of the hairspring and the plane of the inner pile are inspected with a (3~5)× magnifying glass or a (15~20)X microscope, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.4.1.
5.4.2 The roundness and coaxiality of the inner frame are measured with a 50× projector, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.4.2. 5.4.3 Hairspring fastness Use a special fixture to add a weight to the inner end of the hairspring, make it perpendicular to the plane of the inner pile, and lift the outer end upward until the weight is suspended in the air, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.4.3.
5.5 Appearance quality
Under an 8W fluorescent lamp, use a (3~5)× magnifying glass to inspect, and the result shall comply with the provisions of 4.5. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 Factory inspection

Samples for type inspection shall be randomly selected from a batch or batches that have passed the export inspection, and the spare samples shall be determined by the inspection unit. 7.2 Packaging
