Therefore, it is very necessary to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the quality of flame retardant fabrics. Flame retardant woven fabrics can be classified according to fiber variety, product use, finishing process and flame retardant durability (including washability, light resistance, etc.). This standard is divided into two categories according to product durability: washable flame retardant products and non-washable flame retardant products. This standard is applicable to the identification of the quality of various flame retardant woven fabrics. Since the use of flame retardant woven fabrics is relatively wide (can be used as clothing, interior decoration fabrics, transportation vehicle interior materials, etc.), the flame retardant performance indicators are divided into two levels in this standard. Users can choose the flame retardant level to be assessed according to the final use of the product.

4.1.1 The flame retardant properties of flame retardant products shall comply with the provisions of Table 1; the flame retardant properties of washable flame retardant products after washability tests shall also comply with the provisions of Table 1.

4.2 Breaking strength

The breaking strength of flame retardant woven fabrics shall not be less than 75% of the standard value specified in the corresponding non-flame retardant fabric product standard. If the product standard specifies the minimum value, the breaking strength shall not be lower than the minimum value. 4.3 Tear strengthbzxZ.net
The tear strength of flame retardant woven fabrics shall not be less than 7N when tested by pendulum method; and not less than 10N when tested by single tongue method. 4.4 Other internal quality and appearance quality shall be in accordance with the corresponding non-flame retardant fabric product standards. 5 Test methods
5.1 Flame retardant performance test shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T5455. 5.2 Flame retardant washability test shall be carried out in accordance with Chapter 7 mild washing program (type A automatic washing machine) of GB/T17596-1998, the test water hardness is 160mg/I. ± 40mg/L, expressed as calcium carbonate, fabrics to be dry cleaned shall be carried out in accordance with Chapter 8 of FZ/T01013-1991, using the machine washing operation procedure suitable for the sample, and a total of 6 dry cleaning and finishing treatments. 5.3 Breaking strength shall be carried out in accordance with GB/T3923.1. 5.4 Tear strength shall be carried out according to the single tongue method of GB/T3917.1 or GB/T3917.2. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 Two samples are randomly selected from each batch of products for testing. If the average values ​​of the warp and weft directions of the two samples (five samples) meet the requirements of 4.1, the flame retardant performance of the batch of fabrics is qualified; otherwise, the flame retardant performance is unqualified. If the unqualified flame retardant performance is caused by the poor performance of one sample in a sample, it is allowed to test another five samples on the same sample of the unqualified sample. If the indicators of the additional test meet the requirements of Table 1 and the damaged length of any sample does not exceed 250mm, the flame retardant performance of the batch of fabrics is considered to be qualified, otherwise it is unqualified.
6.2 The flame retardant performance is evaluated according to 4.1. The indicators in the warp and weft directions that meet the requirements of B: grade are B grade; the indicators that exceed B1 grade but reach B2 grade are B2 grade. Those that do not meet the requirements of Bz grade shall not be used as flame retardant products. Products that do not meet the B2 grade index after the washability test shall not be regarded as washable flame retardant products.
6.3 If the flame retardant performance, breaking strength and tear strength meet the technical requirements of Chapter 4, and other internal quality and appearance quality meet the corresponding non-flame retardant fabric product standards, the flame retardant product is a qualified product, otherwise it is an unqualified product. 6.4 Other requirements shall be implemented in accordance with the corresponding non-flame retardant fabric product standards. 7 Packaging and marking
7.1 The outer packaging and hangtag of flame retardant products must be marked with "Washable flame retardant product B, grade or B2" or "Non-washable flame retardant product B1 or B2".
