5 Test method
HG/T2405-92
5.1 Appearance, pH value, evaporation residue: viscosity, minimum film forming temperature, residual vinyl acetate, particle size shall be carried out in accordance with GB11175.
5.2 Ethylene content shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix A
5.3: Dilution stability shall be carried out in accordance with Appendix B.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Sampling method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3 of GB11175. 6.2 Products must be inspected by the quality inspection department of the manufacturer. If the inspection is qualified, the quality inspection department will issue a certificate. 6.3 Factory inspection
Appearance, pH, evaporation residue, viscosity, residual vinyl acetate, dilution stability, ethylene content and other items must be inspected once per batch, with a maximum batch size of 100m3
6.4 Type inspection
6.4.1 All technical requirements specified in this standard should be inspected. 6.4.2 At least once a month.
6.5 Judgment rules
If any of the test results do not meet the technical requirements of this standard, double sampling should be carried out according to the sampling method specified in Chapter 3 of GB11175, and the unqualified items should be re-tested. If the re-test meets the standard requirements, the batch of products is first-class, otherwise the batch of products is unqualified.
6.5 If the supply and demand parties have disputes over the test results, the adhesive management unit of the Ministry of Chemical Industry or the quality inspection department designated by the superior shall conduct arbitration 7 Marking, packaging, transportation, purchase and storage
7.1 Packaging
When vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion adhesive is packed in a packaging barrel lined with double-layer plastic bags, the net weight of the paper barrel packaging is 30kg, and the net weight of the open steel barrel packaging is 200kg. When using closed steel barrels lined with plastic, the net weight is 200kg. When using closed and open rigid all-plastic barrels, the net weight is 130kg, and it can also be packed in stainless steel bulk tank trucks. 7.2 Marking
The packaging container should have clear and firm markings, including: product name, brand, grade, standard number, trademark, net weight, production batch number and production date, name, address, telephone number of the production unit, etc. 7.3 Transportation
It should be handled with care during transportation to prevent impact. 7.4 Storage
Vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion adhesive must be stored indoors at an ambient temperature of 5-37℃; the storage period is half a year from the date of production. The performance of products that exceed the storage period should be inspected for all items in accordance with the provisions of this standard, and they can be used if they pass the inspection. 2

Determination method of ethylene content
(supplement)
Grating infrared spectrophotometer or Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer can scan in the wavenumber range of 3200cm-1 to 500cm-1. b. Thallium iodide-thallium bromide (KRS-5) wafer or silver bromide wafer. c. Infrared drying lamp.
A2 Determination steps
A2.1 Use nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer to calibrate the ethylene content of a series of standard samples. The calibration conditions are frequency 100MHz, temperature 150℃, hydrogen spectrum, and solvent is dimethyl sulfoxide. A2.2 Use a glass rod to evenly apply a thin layer of the above standard samples with known ethylene content on KRS-5 or silver bromide wafer. Dry under infrared drying lamp until transparent (about 15 minutes), and perform infrared spectrum scanning on the dried polymer film to check whether the transmittance of the two absorption peaks of 2860c and 606cm~l is between 30% and 70%. If the transmittance exceeds this range, the film must be re-coated to adjust the film thickness to the appropriate range. Then convert the scanning recording mode to the absorbance method and scan in the wavenumber range of 4000cm-1 to 400cm-1
A2.3 Draw a baseline from the closest 3100cm-l to 2775cm~l, and measure the absorption peak from the peak at 2860cm-1 to the baseline in units of absorbance,
A2:4 Draw a baseline from the closest 704cm21 to 573cm-1, and measure the absorption peak from the peak at 606cm-1 to the baseline in units of absorbance,
A2.5 Calculate 2860c A2.6 Calculate the peak ratio RM-1 at 2860cm-1 and 606cm-1 by the same steps as A2.2 to A2.5 for the sample with unknown ethylene content. A3 Calculation and expression of results A3.1 Graphical method A3.1.1 Take the ethylene content of different standard samples as the horizontal axis and the corresponding peak ratio RMo as the vertical axis to draw a graph on a single logarithmic coordinate paper to obtain a working curve. A3.1.2 From the working curve, use the RM value of A2.6 to find the corresponding Ethylene content, calculation method A3.2 (arbitration method)

Peak value at 2860cm\
Peak value at 606cm

B2 Instruments and devices
Electric centrifuge;
b. Graduated centrifuge tube, 10mL.
B3 Operation steps
In a 100mL beaker, weigh 20±0.2g of the emulsion sample, add 20mL of distilled water to the sample, mix well, add the mixed emulsion sample to the 10mL scale line of two graduated centrifuge tubes, centrifuge at 2500-2600r/min for 4±0.1min. Take out the centrifuge tube, pour out the upper solution, continue to drain for about 10s, and record the average volume of the retained sediment, accurate to 0.1mL.
