ICS47.080 National Standard of the People's Republic of China GB/T11699—2003/ISO4566.1992 replaces GB/T11699--1589 Small craft with inboard engine---Propeller shaft endsand bosses with 1 : 10 taper(ISO4566:1992,IDT) Published on September 29, 2003 General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China Implemented on April 1, 2004 GB/T 11699—2003/IS0 4566: 1992 Foreword This standard is equivalent to 1S04566:1992 "Screw shaft ends and propeller hubs with a taper of 1:10 for small boats" (English version). This standard replaces GB/T11699-89 (CR/T3887-1999) "Screw shaft ends and propeller hubs for small boats". The original standard is equivalent to 1S4566:1985, and some technical contents have been modified in ISO)4566:1992. Compared with the previous version, the corresponding dimensions of nominal diameter DN=22mm are added in Table 1 of this standard; the nominal diameter DN=55mm is changed to a non-preferred series. Consistent with "Screw shaft ends and propeller hubs with a taper of 1:6", this standard swaps the contents of Chapter 6 and Chapter 1 of the international standard with "Screw shaft ends and propeller hubs for small boats with a taper of 1:6". For ease of use, the following editorial changes have been made to this standard: a) "This International Standard" is changed to "This Standard"; b) the decimal point "" is used instead of the comma "" as a decimal point; c) the foreword of the International Standard is deleted; d) the symbol "" in Figure 1 and its annotations is omitted. This standard is proposed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation and is under the jurisdiction of the 708th Institute of China State Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. The drafting unit of this standard is China Shipbuilding Industry Comprehensive Technology and Economic Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard are Luo Chunyan, Lin Dehui and Zhang Meiling. 1 Scope GB/T11699-2003/ISO 4566:1992 Propeller shaft ends and hubs with a taper of 1:10 for small craft bZxz.net This standard specifies the propeller shaft ends and hubs with a taper of 1:10 and a shaft diameter of 20 lm to 160 lm installed on small craft for recreational and sheltered use. Interchangeable dimensions of propeller hubs and propeller shaft ends of mm. 2 Normative references The clauses in the following documents become clauses of technical standards through reference in this standard. For any dated referenced document, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this standard; however, parties to an agreement based on this standard are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For any undated referenced document, the latest version applies to this standard. ISO/R773:1969 Rectangular or square parallel keys and matching keyways (dimensions in millimeters) IS01947:1973 Taper C 13 to 1500, length from 6mm to 630mm cones 3 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions. Nominal diameter nominaldiameler The diameter of the large end of the cone at the end of the shaft. If the fit tolerance is negligible, its size is the same as the diameter of the cylindrical shaft. 3.2 Taper A circular chain-shaped part that can be keyed at the end of the shaft to transmit the full torque of the propeller shaft to the propeller while allowing disassembly. 4 Dimensions The dimensions should be as shown in Figure 1 and Table 1: The "reference dimensions\" in Table 1 are all nominal dimensions and are for guidance. The dimensions not specified in Table 1 for the structure of Figure 1 are not necessarily interchangeable and can be determined by the manufacturer. The nominal diameter without brackets should be used first, and the nominal diameter in brackets should be used second. Similarly, the thread diameter without brackets should be used first, and the thread diameter in brackets is used as an alternative. 5 Structural details The details shown in Figure 1 are neither intended to restrict the design nor to scale. The construction and shape or method of the key, keyway and its corner radius, thread height and thread end or other optional details (such as safety pin holes, center holes, etc.) may be individually handled according to the construction and special needs of the coupling. Thread length t: equal to the thread diameter t, the length of the threaded portion engaged by the screw-on fastening nut shall not be less than 80% of the thread length 1. 6 Screw-on fastening nuts and shafts shall adopt the international system fine thread 1) GB/T19309-2003 specifies the propeller shaft end and hub with a taper of 1:16. GB/T11699-2003/ISO4566:1992 Wang, (thread length) The threaded portion engaged by the nut shall not be less than 0.8 (see Chapter 5). 7 Tolerances 7.1 The small end diameter of the shaft end taper, d shall be in accordance with Table 1. The tolerance value is calculated from the nominal diameter in millimeters. 7.2 The large end diameter of the propeller cone, D shall be in accordance with Table 1. 7.3 The cone angle The tolerance of the front end face of the propeller shall be the cone diameter tolerance specified in ISO 1947, and the tolerance range shall be equivalent to the tolerance range of the true diameter specified in 7.1 and 7.2 for &1 and D respectively. 7.4 The keyway and key tolerances shall be in accordance with the tolerances of the standard keys specified in ISO 1947/R 773. 8 Marking The shaft ends and propellers manufactured in accordance with the above requirements shall be marked with the number of this standard and the nominal diameter in millimeters.
