Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Size of Roll Photo Paper
1 Scope of Use
HG 2360-92
This standard specifies the cutting size and limit deviation, joint and warning hole position, size, and core inner diameter of roll photo paper. This standard applies to black and white and color roll photo paper for continuous enlargement machines. 2 Size of Photo Paper
2. 1 Width of Photo Paper
The width of photo paper during cutting during the manufacturing process shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 1
Nominal Size
Note: 1 12.6 cm is the specification of photo paper for cumulative ID card enlargement. The width of photo paper during the warranty period is shown in Appendix A.
2.2 Thickness of Photo Paper
Cutting Size
The thickness of photo paper is not specified, and it is recommended to be between 0.21-0.28 mm. 2.3 Length of paper
The length of paper roll is not specified, but the recommended length is 85-gm, 173*am. 2.4 Joints
2.4.1 Number of joints
For lengths below 100m, there shall be no more than one joint per roll. For lengths between 100m and 250m, two joints are permitted. For lengths above 250m, three joints are permitted. Where there is only one joint, the length of the paper to be spliced shall not be less than 5m. Where there are two or more joints, the length of the paper to be spliced shall not be less than 30m.
2. 4.2 Thickness of joints
It is recommended that paper joints be bonded with adhesive tape, and the total thickness of the joints shall not exceed twice the thickness of the original paper. For overlaps without adhesive tape, the thickness of the joint is allowed to be 0.1mm greater than the thickness of the paper. The overlap must cover the entire width of the paper. Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on August 25, 1992 and implemented on December 1, 1992
The overlap length shall not exceed 13mm, and warping is not allowed. 2.4.3 Joint pre-warning hole
HG 2360-92
The position and size of the joint pre-warning hole shall comply with the requirements of Figure 1, and their sizes are: A55~185mm;
B55-~95mm;
C≤90mm (C may be 40mm in the opposite direction), ≤±3mm;
16mm±1mm.
Paper running direction
Figure 1 Joint pre-warning hole position
2.4.4 Joint compensation
If there are joints in the roll of paper, 300mm of paper (except A size) shall be added for each joint of the roll of paper as compensation. 3 Paper core size
The inner diameter of the paper core of various specifications in use is 76.4mmx0.3mm. The length of each paper core should be slightly smaller than the length of the corresponding photo paper. For some purposes, it is allowed that the length of the paper core is slightly longer than the width of the photo paper, but the part of any side should not exceed 1mm.
4 Dimension inspection method
4.1 Sampling
The photo paper is cut from the production process. The core is sampled before use. 4.2 Measurement conditions
The measurement should be carried out under the environmental conditions of 23℃ ± 2℃ and relative humidity of 45% to 55%. The photo paper cut under the above conditions can be measured directly. The core should be balanced for at least 14dl under the above conditions. 4.3 Measuring instruments
The width size uses a vernier caliper or a comparator with an accuracy of 0.05mm. The joint thickness uses a bullet measuring instrument with an accuracy of 1lim. The size of the joint warning hole is measured with a copper ruler with an accuracy of 1 mm. HG2360--92
Appendix 4
Dimensional stability of photographic paper
(reference)
A1 The dimensions and tolerances of photographic paper specified in this standard are the dimensions when cut under the balanced conditions of temperature 23°C ± 2°C and relative humidity 45% to 55%. The dimensions of photographic paper will change due to permanent aging shrinkage and temporal shrinkage or expansion caused by changes in ambient temperature. Under normal circumstances, within the warranty period of photographic paper, when the package is opened under the same environmental conditions as when it was packaged, the dimensional change should not exceed ± 0.20% of the dimensional change when the paper is cut. The size is measured by cutting the sample from the large. Non-plastic-coated paper-based photographic paper needs to be balanced for at least 8 hours, while plastic-coated paper-based photographic paper needs to be balanced for at least 14 days. Appendix B
Precautions for winding and packaging of photographic paper
(reference)
B1 The joint material should be resistant to all washing solutions and environments, and should maintain the original physical properties after washing. B2 The core material should have no effect on the photographic properties of the paper. B3 When packaging, the paper should be wound symmetrically on the core. One side of the core should not protrude from the paper roll and the other side should not be recessed into the paper roll. For paper with a width of less than 50.8cm, the emulsion side should be wound outwards, and for paper with a width greater than or equal to 50.8cm, the emulsion side should be wound inwards.
