This standard is applicable to the quality inspection and grade assessment of railway tank cars (hereinafter referred to as railway tank cars) with a volume greater than 30m3 and a design pressure of 0.8~2.2MPa (8~~22kgf/cm\) that transport liquid nitrogen, liquid chlorine, liquid sulfur dioxide and liquefied petroleum gas (propylene, propane, butadiene, butane and their mixtures).

3.1 This standard is the basis for quality inspection by enterprise quality inspection departments, and can also be used by national and departmental quality supervision and inspection agencies for product quality supervision and random inspection or quality inspection.
