GB/T4122.1 Fundamentals of packaging terms GB/T4857.3 Packaging and transport package static load stacking test method (GB/T4857.31992.cqVISO2234:1985) GB19433.1 General safety rules for inspection of dangerous goods packaging for air transport GB19434.1 General safety rules for inspection of medium-sized protective devices for dangerous goods 3 Terms and definitions The terms and definitions established in GB/T 4122.1 and GB19431.1 and the following terms and definitions shall apply to this standard. 3.1 Intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) Intermediate bulk containers, also known as intermediate bulk cargo containers, refer to rigid or flexible removable containers (outside the scope of F1319433.1), which: a) have the following capacity: - When packing solids and liquids of group I and group III packaging, not more than 3.0m2; - When packing solids of group I packaging in flexible, rigid plastic, composite, fiberboard and wooden intermediate bulk containers, not more than 1.5 m2; - When packing solids of group I packaging in metal intermediate bulk containers, not more than 3.0; b) Designed for mechanical loading and unloading; c) Able to withstand the stress generated during loading and unloading and transportation, which is determined by test. 3.2 Box. Body The container itself, including the opening and its closing device, but excluding auxiliary equipment. Applicable to all types of intermediate bulk containers except composite intermediate bulk containers. Handling device All kinds of lifting rings, loops, hooks and frames fixed on the body of the intermediate bulk container or extended from the body material. Applicable to all kinds of intermediate bulk containers except flexible bulk containers. Maximum allowable gross mass Maximum missible gross nass The mass of the shell and its auxiliary equipment and structural devices plus the maximum allowable loading mass (applicable to all kinds of intermediate bulk containers except flexible bulk bags). GB/T 21590-2008 Stacking test A test to place heavy objects on the package or packaging container to assess the ability of the package or packaging container to withstand the stacking static load and the protection of the packaging for the contents. 4 Test equipment 4.1 Horizontal platform surface The horizontal platform should be flat and hard. The height difference between any two points shall not exceed 2mm. If it is a concrete floor, its thickness shall not be less than 150mm. 4.2 Loading device= The loading device shall be specified in GB/T4857.3 according to the selected method. 4.3 Device for deflection test The error of all deflection test devices shall be accurate to ±1mm. 5 Test procedure 5.1 Test preparation 5.1.1 According to the design type, the intermediate bulk container used for transporting solids shall be filled to not less than 95% of its capacity, and the intermediate bulk container used for transporting liquids shall be filled to not less than 98% of its capacity. 5.1.2 The pressure relief device shall be determined to be in a non-operating state, or the pressure relief device shall be removed and its opening blocked. 5.1.3 The intended cargo of the intermediate sensitive container may be replaced by other substances, but it shall not affect the test results. 5.1.4 For solid substances, when another substance is used as a substitute, the physical properties (mass, particle size, etc.) of the substitute substance shall be the same as those of the substance to be transported. 5.1.5 It is permitted to use additives such as bags of lead shot to achieve the specified total mass of the package, provided that the additives are placed in a manner that does not affect the test results. 5.1.6 Fiberboard IBCs and composite IBCs with fiberboard outer packaging shall be conditioned for at least 24 h under atmospheric conditions of controlled temperature and relative humidity. There are three options from which one can be selected. It is recommended that the best choice be an atmospheric condition of 23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 2%. The other two options are 20°C ± 2°C and 65% ± 2% or 27°C ± 2°C and 65% ± 2%. Note: The measurement process allows for short-term fluctuations of ± 5% in individual relative measurements, but the average value should be within the above limits and the fluctuation should have no significant effect on the re-testing of the test results. 5. 2 Number of samples The number of samples is 3. 5.3 Test procedures 5.3.1 The intermediate bulk container shall be placed with its bottom downward on a hard and flat surface, and then a uniform test load shall be applied to it for a period of at least: 5.3.2 The test load applied to the intermediate bulk container shall be at least 1.8 times the sum of the maximum allowable total mass of the number of identical intermediate bulk containers stacked on it during transport. 5.3.3 The load shall be applied by one of the following methods: one or more intermediate bulk containers of the same type filled to the maximum allowable load shall be placed on the test container; ... a flat plate shall be placed on the test intermediate bulk container, and the corresponding load shall be placed on the flat plate. 2 Test report Name, quantity, size and specification of test samples; name of manufacturer; Pretreatment temperature, relative mixing degree and pretreatment time; - Stacking height of test samples; Test equipment; GB/T 21590—2008 Record of test results, and any phenomena observed during the test that may help explain the test results; explanation of the differences between the test method used and that proposed in this standard; - Test date, signature of the tester and seal of the testing unit.
