Some standard content:

GB/T 8479—2003
This standard replaces GB/T8479--1987 "Sliding Aluminum Alloy Windows" and GB/T8481--1987 "Sliding Aluminum Alloy Windows". The main differences between this standard and GB/T8479-1987 and GB/T8481-1987 are as follows: - The above two standards are combined into one standard, named "Aluminum Alloy Windows"; the product category classification is improved,
This standard adopts the latest version of wind pressure resistance, watertightness, airtightness, thermal insulation, airborne sound insulation, lighting and other performance indicators; - Repeated opening and closing requirements and deflection control values are added; - Window frame depth dimension series (original standard 3.1) is cancelled; - The original standard is expressed as a section of the opening (original standard 3.2.1 and 3.2.2). Appendix A of this standard is an informative appendix.
This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Construction's Product and Component Standardization Technical Committee.
