Usually, a powder sampler is inserted into the bottom for sampling. The selected sample is fully mixed and divided into 600g by quartering method for standby use.

3.3.3.1 Preparation of heavy liquid
Put analytical pure tetrabromoethane in a 500ml beaker, and put in standard specific gravity glass at the same time. At this time, the standard specific gravity glass floats on the tetrabromoethane. Then add anhydrous ethanol while stirring until the glass in the liquid is suspended. (It can be fixed at any depth. At this time, the heavy liquid is successfully prepared. 3.3.3.2 Separation of impurities
Pour 100g of dried sample into about 200-250ml of heavy liquid with a specific gravity of 2.50t/m3 in the separatory funnel, shake the separatory funnel slowly, and after standing, wash down the TP abrasive adhering to the upper layer of the separatory funnel with the heavy liquid, and leave it for more than 16 hours: at this time, impurities with a specific gravity greater than that of glass will settle to the bottom of the separatory slide, so that these impurities are obviously separated from the TP abrasive. Put the precipitated impurities on rapid quantitative filter paper, and then wash them with anhydrous ethanol; put them in a dry place at 100℃ Put it in the oven for 30 minutes, take it out and put it in a dryer to cool to room temperature, weigh it with a balance, 3.3.4 Calculation

Impurity content (%)=
3.4 Measurement of water content

Test weight (g)
Weigh 100g of abrasive and put it in an oven at 100-105℃ to dry until constant weight, weigh to 0.1g, calculate the water content of the abrasive, and you can also use an infrared moisture rapid tester to detect the water content of TP abrasive. Generally, the arithmetic mean of three samples is taken as the measured value, 3.5 Determination of particle size distribution
3.5.1 Measuring device and requirements
3.5.1.1 Standard sieve
Sieve frame diameter @200mm, height 50mm , the sieve holes are approximately square, and the sieve material is brass, bronze or stainless steel. A set of standard sieves consists of nine sieve numbers. The relationship between the sieve hole size and the sieve number is as follows: 3
Sieve hole size (um)
3.5.1.2 Vibrating sieve machine

Use a slapping vibrating sieve machine
Vibration times 290 times/min
Slap height 30mm
3.5.1.3 Balance
Slap times 156 times/min
Weighing amount is not less than 100g, and the sensing plate is 0.1g.
3.3.2 Measurement steps
Standard sieves are stacked from bottom to top according to the size of the sieve number, with the largest sieve hole placed on the top layer, and the bottom plate and upper cover are installed. Take 100g of TP abrasive sample and pour it into the top sieve, and cover it. Put the whole set of sieves (or two) on the vibrating sieve machine, vibrate for 5 minutes, and then pour out the TP abrasive remaining in the top sieve. When pouring out the abrasive, the sieve should be gently tapped to make the abrasive gather on one side of the sieve, and then pour the abrasive on a smooth paper. Use a soft brush to gently brush the TP abrasive adhering to the bottom of the sieve into the next sieve, turn the sieve over and tap the bottom of the sieve upwards, so that the abrasive remaining in the sieve falls and enters the TP abrasive of the current sieve level. The same applies to the following sieves, and then weigh each level from bottom to top in turn, accurate to 0.1g: and record the weight. The total weight of the TP abrasive should be no less than 99% of the original sample weight, and the difference should be added to the weight of the TP abrasive in the chassis. When measuring, take two samples of the same abrasive and measure them separately. Determine, and then take the arithmetic mean of the two measurements. 3.5.3 Calculation of particle size distribution
The particle size distribution is expressed as the percentage of the weight of TP abrasive remaining on each layer of the sieve to the total weight of the sample taken. 3.6 Determination of chemical composition
The determination is carried out according to the requirements of the chemical composition technical specifications for non-metallic minerals. It can also be determined by other methods under the condition of ensuring the chemical composition detection standard. However, when determining, the arithmetic mean of the three determination results must be taken as the determination value of the product.
3.7 Determination of hardness
Use a Mohs hardness tester to determine the Mohs hardness of the TP abrasive ore. This hardness is regarded as the hardness of the abrasive. 3.8 Determination of grinding amount
Weigh with a balance with a large enough weighing range The weight of the object before and after grinding. The amount of grinding is the weight of the object before grinding minus its weight after grinding.
3.9 Determination of roughness.
Use a universal surface roughness tester to measure the surface roughness of the object after grinding. 4 Inspection rules
4.1 In order to determine whether the TP abrasive meets the requirements of this standard. Routine tests should be carried out according to the 4
SJ3119-88
items specified in "2. Technical requirements" of this standard. Routine tests shall be carried out no less than once a year. When major changes are made to the manufacturing process or raw materials, full performance tests must be carried out.
4.2 In order to ensure the performance requirements of TP abrasives, the following properties must be tested when leaving the factory (or delivered). Can be inspected: (1) Particle size distribution;
(3) Moisture content.
(2) Impurity content;
4.3 After receiving the goods, the user shall conduct a delivery inspection, and the inspection items shall be particle size distribution, impurity content, moisture content, etc. According to the special requirements of the user. The supply and demand parties may negotiate to increase or reduce the inspection items. According to the requirements of the user, the manufacturer can provide routine test records.
4.4 The product is generally 10~15t per batch, and the samples shall be randomly selected from each batch, but at least five bags each time.
4.5 According to the inspection results, if the indicators of all samples meet the requirements of the standard "2. Technical Requirements", the TP abrasive is qualified.
4.6 If even one sample fails to meet any of the requirements in "2. Technical requirements" of this standard during the inspection, double sampling should be taken from the same batch of materials, and the unqualified items should be retested. If the retest still fails, the batch of TP abrasives is considered unqualified.
5 Marking, packaging, purchase, storage, and transportation
5.1 Marking
When filling in TP abrasives in the design documents, the abrasive, model specifications and the number of this standard should be marked. Example:
TP type 60 abrasive is marked as
Abrasive TP-6g#S
SJ3119-88
5.2 Packaging
5.2.1 Packaging bags are required to be sealed and waterproof. 5.2.2 Weight: Net weight of each bag is 25kg
5.2.3 Trademark: The model specifications, trademark, manufacturer's name and certificate of conformity should be marked on the outside of the packaging. 5.3 Storage
5.3.1 Abrasives should be stored in a clean, ventilated and dry warehouse. 5.3.2 One type of abrasive should be stored in one area and should be strictly separated from other abrasives. They should not be mixed and stored together. In particular, they should be kept away from places where abrasives such as diamond are stored.
