The gap of the packing ring joint shall be less than 0.4mm for the three types of packings of DN16, DN25 and DN38mm; and less than 0.8mm for the two types of packings of DN50 and DN76. The upper and lower edges of the packing are not allowed to be misaligned. The end face of the packing ring shall be perpendicular to the axial center line and 90° with the side. 5.0.4 There shall be no cracks on the surface of the packing ring and no burrs on the edge of the packing. 81 Inspection and acceptance 6.1 Acceptance rules 6.1.1 The packing should be inspected in batches, and packing of one size can be regarded as a batch. See Table 6.1.1 for batches. When the production volume of packing of one size is less than the batch value specified in Table 6.1.1, the production volume of one size can be regarded as a batch. Table 6.1.1 Packing batches Nominal diameter DN Less than 38 Batch (m2) 6.1.2 The sampling quantity of each batch of packing shall not be less than 60 samples for testing. 6.1.3 If more than 5% of the sample size of the appearance dimensions of the samples do not meet the requirements of this standard, the sampling quantity shall be doubled from the same batch of products and retested. The results of the repeated tests apply to the same batch of products. If the unqualified rate of the retested samples is still greater than 5% of the sampling quantity, the batch of products shall be unqualified. 6.2 Inspection method 6.2.1 The diameter, wall thickness and height of the packing are measured with a vernier caliper. Each measurement item of each sample shall not be less than 2 measurement points. The measurement value requirements are shown in Table 3.2.3.6.2.2 Measure the ovality of the sample with a vernier caliper. Two mutually perpendicular diameters must be measured for each sample, and the ovality is determined by the radial difference between the two mutually perpendicular diameters. The measurement value requirements are shown in Table 3.2.3.6.2.3 Place the right angle meter on the end face of the packing, and use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the right angle meter and the edge of the end face to measure the side tilt deviation. The verticality deviation should be less than 1%. 6.2.4 When the shape and size of the packing changes, it is necessary to conduct tests on the packing characteristics, fluid mechanics and mass transfer performance. 82 7 Marking, packaging and storage and transportation 7.1 Marking 7.1.1 The packing should be accompanied by a packing list and a product certificate. The soil should indicate: product name, specification and size, inspection results, inspection date and inspector's seal, manufacturer name, production date. 7.1.2 The outer packaging box should indicate: product name, quality (or quantity), manufacturer name, and words or signs such as "Prevent moisture" and "Do not press heavily". 7.2 Packaging 7.2.1 The packaging container should be a dry box or other packaging material. Lined with moisture-proof paper or other moisture-proof materials. 7.2.2 The packaging container must have sufficient strength to withstand multiple handling and loading and unloading, and be safely and reliably transported to the destination. Transportation and storage 7.3.1 The product should be protected from rain and moisture during transportation. 7.3.2 The product should be stored in a dry and non-corrosive place. It must not be stored if the inner packaging is damaged.
