National Standard of the People's Republic of China Industrial Product Guarantee Documents General Principles of Industrial Product Guarantee Documents 1 Subject Content and Applicable Scope This standard specifies the basic principles, main contents and compilation requirements for the compilation of industrial product guarantee documents. This standard applies to manufacturers who formulate domestic industrial product guarantee documents. 2 Terminology 2.1 Product Guarantee Documents productguaranteedocuments CB/T 14436-93 The general term for technical documents that provide product manufacturers with information such as product quality certification and service guarantees, etc. 2.2 Product Quality Guarantee Certificate Technical documents provided by product manufacturers on product safety, reliability, performance data and other quality conditions. 2.3 Product Certificate: A certificate provided by the product manufacturer indicating that the product has passed factory inspection and its quality meets the standards and relevant regulations. 2.4 Product Return and Exchange Certificate: A certificate provided by the product manufacturer indicating that the product can be returned or exchanged under certain conditions. 2.5 Product warranty productguarantee The certificate provided by the product manufacturer that the product can be repaired under certain conditions: 2.6 Product prestige card product prestige card The certificate of the product manufacturer's commitment and credibility on product quality. 3 Basic principles 3.1 The corresponding product guarantee documents must be provided with the delivered products. 3.2 Types of product guarantee documents: Product quality guarantee: Product certificate: Product return certificate; Product warranty; Product prestige card, 3.3 The product manufacturer may provide one of the above product guarantee documents according to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, standards, product conditions and requirements in the joint statement. The product's part number, batch number, category, grade, factory number, production date, validity period, shelf life, production license number, product standard number, trademark, telephone number, etc. can be specified by relevant standards as needed. 4.2 Product The quality assurance book includes the following main contents: Implementation of product standard number! Product guarantee documents printed on both sides should not be obscured by reasons such as the back showing through. 5.4 Product guarantee documents can be single-page, folded or multi-page depending on the content. Multiple pages should be bound into a book: 5.5 Product guarantee documents must have Chinese text. It is not allowed to provide only foreign text or text in minority languages. 5.6 The Chinese characters used in product guarantee documents should be the standardized simplified characters officially announced by the state. The Chinese text provided to users in Hong Kong, Macao and other regions can be in traditional Chinese if the user requests it. 5.7 Product guarantee documents are not allowed to be altered at will. 5.8 Product guarantee documents can leave a certain amount of blank space for product distributors to write their names and locations.
