---21 symbols were added: running, tennis, squash, golf, bowling, croquet, table tennis, billiards, fitness, shooting, horse riding, motorcycle, go-kart, bungee jumping, parasailing, slope sliding, zip line, swimming, water skiing, rowing, rafting.
---2 symbols were moved to GB/T10001.1: stadium, gymnasium.

This part of GB/T10001 specifies public information graphic symbols for signs in the field of sports and fitness (hereinafter referred to as graphic symbols). This part is applicable to public places such as sports venues, fitness and entertainment centers, hotels and restaurants, parks and scenic spots, as well as transportation vehicles and other service facilities. It is specifically used for the design of location signs, guide signs, plan diagrams, information boards, block guide maps and other guide elements in public information guidance systems. 5 Application
5.1 This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T10001.1. In application, if other symbols are required, they should be selected from other parts of GB/T10001.
5.2 The color of the graphic symbol should comply with the requirements of GB/T20501.1. 5.3 The square edge in the graphic symbol column in Table 1 is not a component of the graphic symbol, but only the basis for making the graphic logo. When applied, the graphic logo formed by the symbol should be used. When using the graphic symbols in this part to design guiding elements, the requirements of GB/T 20501 shall be met.
5.4 The meaning of the graphic symbols in this part is only the general concept of the graphic symbols. When applied, corresponding names can be given according to the specific objects to be expressed. For example, the graphic symbol meaning "badminton" can be given specific names such as "badminton hall" and "badminton court". 1
