This standard is formulated based on the production and use needs of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipes, in accordance with the characteristics of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipes, after performance testing and experimental verification, with reference to relevant international standards and domestic standards. Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix. This standard is proposed by the China Light Industry Federation. This standard is issued by the Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastic Products of Shandong Province (TC4/SC3) of Plastic Pipes, Fittings and Valves. The drafters of this standard are: Jiehe Laoshan Co., Ltd., Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Zibo Zhongkemi Pipe Co., Ltd. The drafters of this standard are: Li Shoushan, Guo Jing, Xu Weijie, Fa Xiaoguang, Gan Dejian. This standard is published for the first time.
1 Scope
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipes
QB/T2668-2004
This standard specifies the product classification, raw materials, production specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection and supervision rules and regulations, packaging, transportation, storage of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (LHMWPE) pipes. This standard is used for materials (hereinafter referred to as pipes) that are extruded into a wall with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene as the main raw material and the addition amount of other components is not more than 5%. The pipes specified in this standard are applicable to the delivery of water, slurry, solid, granular, and fluids with chemical corrosiveness below 45°C and low pressure.

Pipes are divided into two categories according to the classification of CHMWPE resins: UHMWPE Class I and LHMWPE Class I.
