National Standard of the People's Republic of China Industrial Product Guarantee Documents Manufacturer's declaration of export product confarmity with standardsCB/T14237-93 This standard is equivalent to the international standard IS0, IEC Guide No. 22 (1982) 6 Manufacturer's declaration of export product confarmity. 1 Content and scope of application This standard specifies the main contents and procedures of the declaration of export product conformity provided by the manufacturer at the request of foreign companies or on its own. This standard applies to the documents for the manufacturer to formulate the declaration of export product conformity. 2 Reference standards GB1.3 Guidelines for standardization work Provisions for the preparation of product standards 3 Terminology 3.1 Manufacturer The unit or individual responsible for production and able to ensure that its products meet all the requirements of the standard through quality assurance measures. It can also be applied to wholesalers, importers, assemblers, etc. The recording is that they should meet the "prerequisite for the producer's declaration of conformity" stipulated in Chapter 7 of this standard. 3.2 Producer's declaration of conformity manufacturer's declaration of conformity is the responsibility of the producer (not according to the procedures of the third party certification system) to declare that its products comply with specific standards or corresponding technical specifications in the form of a "declaration of conformity". 4 Requirements and application areas 4.1 When the export of products is restricted by the relevant laws of the importing countries and regions, the producer may declare that its products comply with the relevant standards or other technical specifications and assume the corresponding responsibilities. 4.2 When the producer declares that his product is qualified, it should be based on the full content of the standard. 4.3 This standard is mainly used for declarations of conformity to international standards (ISO standards or IEC standards), and can also be used for compliance with national Declaration of conformity to a national standard or other technical specification. In the following text, \standard or other technical specification\is referred to as \"standard\" and \"declaration of conformity\" is referred to as \"declaration\". 5 Form of producer's declaration The producer's declaration can be in the form of a document declaration, product self-recording booklet, shipping list, delivery instructions, label, etc. 6 Purpose of producer's declaration The purpose of the producer's declaration is to prove that the product conforms to the various provisions of the standard mentioned in the declaration. Approved by the State Bureau of Technical Supervision on March 17, 1993 and implemented on December 1, 1993 7 Prerequisites for producer's declaration of conformity GB/T 14237—93Www.bzxZ.net The producer should be able to directly or indirectly ensure the quality of its products so that the products meet all the requirements of the standard. To this end, the producer should have at its disposal all the means necessary to implement such guarantees in all links (raw materials, material supply, production process, assembly, finished products, packaging, labeling, etc.). When necessary, information on the controls and test results conducted should be available. 8 Declaration of Conformity 8.1 The declaration should include the following: 2. The name, address, postal code, telephone number and registered telegram of the producer issuing the declaration; b. The product's name, category or model and all accompanying information, such as batch, batch number or number, sample source and quantity, etc., Concisely, completely and clearly state the standard on which it is based (standard name, standard number, standard publication date); various relevant supplementary information that may be required, such as grade, classification, etc.; d. Signature and position of the manufacturer's authorized representative; statement that the manufacturer assumes corresponding responsibility for the statement it issues. g 8.2 The information provided in the declaration shall be consistent with the test results on which the declaration is based. 8.3 The declaration does not imply or contain recognition by a standards organization, superior authority or any third party. 8.4 Example of declaration of conformity: Self-responsible declaration (manufacturer's name) (manufacturer's to whith this declaration relates is in conformity with the technical requircmcnts of the following technical requirements; 9 Restrictions on reference to producer’s declaration of conformity in standards Neither the producer’s declaration of conformity nor any reference to such a declaration shall be included in the standard as a requirement. 10 Product marking (excluding conformity marks) 10.1 Marking: a mark used on a product or a package that is primarily used to identify the product or certain features of the product. Note: ① Marking is not a way of indicating conformity. ② Marking may include: factory marking, identification label or detailed table, product characteristics, safety warnings and other user instructions. Product marking may be written in accordance with GB 1. Appendix B (reference). 10.2 It is not encouraged to involve standard organizations in the labeling, especially for products sold directly to the public. However, if the manufacturer wishes to mark the product with the number of the standard and the letters representing the standard organization (generally ISO or IEC) under the premise of assuming full responsibility, such marking should be limited to identification code, level, reference (such as the power of a car, the speed of a film, etc.). 10.3 When it is necessary to indicate the standard organization or its standards in the labeling, the following guidelines should be followed: The labeling should include the manufacturer's symbol and use the letters representing the standard organization to indicate the corresponding standard, standard number and its publication date, b. The mark shall not imply or lead people to believe that the product has been approved by the standard organization. The mark shall not refer to the mark confirmed by the standard organization or the mark associated with it. If there are any provisions on the performance chart or level, it should be indicated in the mark. GB/T 14237-93 e. The mark should make its meaning clear even to users who do not understand technology. In particular, it should be clear when the referenced standard only includes part of the performance of the product. 10.4 It shall not be stipulated in the standard that the mark can be used to indicate the conformity of the product. However, when the mark is only used as an identification code, level or parameter, it can be used in the standard.
