Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG/T2894—1997 Determination Method of Relative Strength of Presscakes of Disperse Dyes1997-04-22 Issued Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of ChinaWww.bzxZ.net 1997-10-01 Implementation W.bzsoso.cOIHG/T2894—1997 The determination of the relative strength of the original dye of disperse dyes has guiding significance for the production of disperse dyes. The determination method adopted in this standard is a determination method selected through experimental comparison among the sand milling method, grinding method, spectrophotometry and other methods commonly used at home and abroad. This method has the advantages of fast determination, accuracy and convenience. The determination method adopted in this standard is spectrophotometry. This standard is proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the technical supervision of Shenyang Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. This standard was drafted by Shenyang Chemical Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry. The main drafter of this standard is Wang Yong. W.bzsoso.cOmICS71.040.40 Registration No. 4301997 Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Determination Method of Relative Strength of Presscakes of Disperse Dyes1 Scope This standard specifies the general method for determining the relative strength of disperse dyes by spectrophotometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the relative strength of disperse dyes that conform to Beer's law. 2 Method summary HG/T2894—1997 After dissolving the disperse dye original dye and standard sample in solvent, use a spectrophotometer to measure the optical density value at the maximum absorption wavelength respectively. According to the Lambert-Beer law, the relative intensity of the dye can be calculated. 3 Test method 3.1. Solution, instruments and materials Sulfuric acid: 98%; Dimethylformamide (DMF) acidic solution: add 1mL of concentrated sulfuric acid to each liter of DMF; Dimethylformamide aqueous solution: 8+2 solution, and adjust the pH value to 5.5; 751-G or other types of spectrophotometer; Colorimetric IIIl: 10mm; Volume flask: 500mL, 100mL Pipette: 1mL, 2mL. 3.2 Sample preparation 3.2.1 Preparation of standard sample suspension Accurately weigh 0.5~1g (accurate to 0.0004g) of standard sample, stir with a small amount of distilled water, and dilute with distilled water into a 500mL volumetric flask to prepare a 1~2g/ standard dye suspension for standby use. 3.2.2 Preparation of sample solution Accurately weigh about 0.1g (accurate to 0.0004g) of the original dry product of disperse dye whose solid content has been determined, dissolve it with DMF acid solution, transfer it to a 100mL volumetric flask, dilute to the scale with DMF acid solution, and prepare a 1g/L dye solution for standby use. Note: Determine its concentration according to the specific dye variety so that its optical density value is within the range of 0.3~0.6. 3.3 Determination steps Use a pipette to take 2mL of the standard suspension and 1mL of the sample solution into two 100mL volumetric flasks, dilute them to the scale with DMF aqueous solution, and use a spectrophotometer to measure their optical density values at the maximum absorption wavelength. 3.4 Expression of determination results Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on April 22, 1997 and implemented on October 1, 1997 Wbzsoso, cOHG/T2894—1997 The relative intensity F (%) of the original disperse dye is calculated as follows: BXax100 Wherein: E1——optical density value of the standard solution; E2——optical density value of the sample solution, Ci——concentration of the standard solution, C2——concentration of the sample solution. 3.5 Allowable difference The difference between two parallel determination results shall not exceed 1%, and the arithmetic mean shall be taken. 4 Test report The test report shall include the following contents: State the standard number and year number; Full name of the dye to be tested; Type of instrument used; Measurement wavelength; Measurement wavelength.
