GB/T5055--1997 This standard was first issued in 1985. This time, GB5055-85 "Black carp, grass carp, silver carp, bighead carp, broodstock" was revised in accordance with the format of GB/T1.1-1993 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Unit 1: Rules for Drafting and Presentation of Standards Part 1: Basic Provisions for Standard Writing". It is applicable to broodstock used for artificial breeding of black carp, grass carp and silver carp. 2 Source 2.1 Natural seedlings in rivers or seedlings from seed farms that hold seed production licenses issued by the state, which are specially cultivated into broodstock. 2.2 Broodstock are cultivated from black carp, grass carp, silver carp, natural germplasm resource banks or edible fish collected from rivers, reservoirs, lakes and other natural waters that have not been artificially stocked. 2.3 It is strictly forbidden to use the offspring of inbreeding as broodstock. Female and male fish bred by general production units (not seed farms) shall not be kept as broodstock of this unit at the same time. 2.4 The original species should be introduced every 6 to 10 years in accordance with the provisions of 2.1 and 2.2 to cultivate broodstock. 3 External morphology Physical fitness, no disease, no deformity or defect. 4 Reproduction age and body 4.1 Black carp, grass carp and silver carp that have reached initial sexual maturity shall not be used as broodstock for artificial breeding. The age of sexual maturity, the minimum age for reproduction and the minimum weight for black carp, grass carp and silver carp are shown in Table 1, Table 2, Table 3 and Table 4 respectively.
