This part is applicable to railway passenger stations, passenger train carriages and other related places and facilities for railway passenger transport, and is specifically used for the design of location signs, guide signs, plan diagrams, information boards, block guide maps and other guiding elements in public information guidance systems. This part is also applicable to publications and other information carriers with graphic signs larger than 10mm×10mm in size. 2 Normative references The provisions in the following documents become the provisions of this part through reference in this part of GB/T10001. Commonly used signs in the field of railway passenger transport are shown in Appendix A. 5 Application 5.1 This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T10001.1 and GB/T10001.3. If other symbols are required in the application, they should be selected from other parts of GB/T10001. 5.2 The color of the graphic symbols shall comply with the requirements of GB/T20501.1. 5.3 The square borders in the graphic symbol column of Table 1 and the corner marks in the graphic symbol column of Table A.1 are not part of the graphic symbols, but are only the basis for making graphic marks. When applied, the graphic symbols with square borders should use the graphic marks formed by the symbols, and the graphic symbols with corner marks should remove the corner marks, but the white lining between the graphic symbols and the corner marks should be retained. When using the graphic symbols in this part to design guiding elements, the requirements of GB/T20501 should be met. 5.4 The meaning of the graphic symbols in this part is only the general concept of the graphic symbols. When applied, the corresponding names can be given according to the specific objects to be expressed, such as: the graphic symbol with the meaning of "automatic ticket vending" can be given specific names such as "automatic ticket office" and "automatic ticket vending machine".
