3 Overview
Asphalt needle is a standard needle for measuring the physical properties of asphalt. It is a needle that measures the oil
under specified temperature conditions and friction conditions. It relies on the product to press into the asphalt. According to the standard range, the needle is in contact with the specified shape, size and quality surface. There is no obvious friction in the surrounding area. The depth of the measured object is pressed inward to obtain the asphalt needle value. The use of the needle depth index table 0. The use of the manual needle meter is mainly divided into manual and dynamic types. The manual needle meter is shown in the figure. The water temperature in the water bath can be determined by Thermometer display, manual control of the extrusion length, reading the depth of use, automatic flow meter base display, the pressing time length and depth automatic 4 measurement characteristics structure as shown in the figure and crystal force 4.1 instrument base level installation production 42 standard needle (including needle body, needle and code for #3 needle body as shown in Figure 3 geometry zero number ||4.31 Diameter of cylindrical part of needle body D.

Check the appearance of the cover and make sure there are no defects that affect its use. 6.1. Correct installation of instrument level
Standard and other equipment
Level ruler (division value: 1mm/m, MPE: =20%), Grade ① electronic balance with a graduation value of 0.01g, microscope, Grade 1 outer diameter dry scale
Surface roughness ratio light sample
Measuring range (0~25) and (25~50)℃, Grade 1 standard mercury thermometer with a graduation value of 0.05, each gauge block
Put it on the workbench with a level ruler, level the workbench, check the position of the circular water run, which should be within the center circle scale, 6.2 The total mass of the standard needle (including the needle body, needle connecting rod and magnetic code) is measured from the needle penetration meter to the needle body, needle connecting rod and base code, and its total mass is weighed with a balance. 6.3 Geometrical Numbers of Needle Hole
6.3.1 Point Diameter of the Cylindrical Part of the Needle Body
Use an external light micrometer to measure the head, middle and tail of the cylindrical part of the needle body. 6.3.2 Diameter of the Small End of the Needle Body and Angle of the Needle Body
Put the cone of the needle body on the workbench of the tool microscope, adjust the distance so that the cone of the needle body is clearly displayed, and adjust the cylindrical part of the needle body to be parallel to the horizontal axis of the tool microscope. Use the reticle to aim at the top of the needle tip and measure the diameter. Shift the workbench, aim at the generatrix near the large end of the cone, and measure the diameter. Use the diameter difference and the lateral displacement distance to calculate the cone angle.
JJF1208-2008
6.3.3 Coaxiality of the cone and cylinder of the needle body Place the cylindrical part of the needle body into the V-groove of the V-shaped iron, place the V-shaped iron on the workbench of the tool microscope, adjust the focal length so that the needle tip is clearly imaged on the graticule, rotate the needle body in the V-groove, and measure half of the maximum change of the needle tip horizontally (or horizontally) as the calibration result. Other methods that meet the requirements can also be used for calibration. 6.3.4 Perpendicularity of the small end face of the cone of the needle body to the cone axis Place the needle body in the working position of the manual microscope, adjust the focusing mechanism to make a clear image on the graticule, align the horizontal wire of the graticule with the main line of the cylindrical part of the needle body, and record the angle indication. Then rotate the graticule to align the horizontal wire
with the image of the conical small end face of the needle body, and then record the conical and cylindrical surface of the needle body H
and use the surface roughness comparison template to compare and measure. 6.5 Temperature indication error
Insert the automatic asphalt needle into the standard mercury thermometer,
indication error.
Manual asphalt needle
Measure the water temperature at the four corners and five points in the middle of the water bath with the thermometer of the instrument, refer to the G
Program》, and calibrate it around 25°!
6.6 Length measuring device
The difference between the received and the received minus 90° is the calibration result. After the full value is determined, the difference between the set value and the set value is the average value of the temperature. The second-class standard water-breaking thermometer calibration regulations are as follows: the length of the gauge block, the maximum length of the gauge block is not less than 90% of the maximum range of the hand-held asphalt needle thermometer, select 5 different minimum and maximum block lengths, remove the standard needle, put the gauge blocks in turn, and read the instrument indications respectively. 10mm. The asphalt needle thermometer is set on the workbench in the working state, so that the needle is in contact with the gauge block under the cabinet, with the maximum gauge block only 1, A: A4. Calculate the difference between the indication of the other instrument and the calculated value minus the actual value of the corresponding gauge block, and take the maximum value of the four differences. The calibration result can also be calibrated by other methods that meet the requirements. 7. The calibration result is expressed as Ao. The four instruments are issued a calibration certificate, which includes the above calibration results. The asphalt penetration meter after calibration needs to be checked for compliance on a regular basis. See AOLOC to explain the uncertainty of the standard instrument used and the validity of the source. 8. Recalibration time interval. The recalibration time interval of the asphalt penetration meter can be determined by the user according to the specific usage situation. It is recommended that it should not exceed 1 year. Appendix A. JJF1208-2008. Technical index requirements for metrological characteristics.
