ICS83.180 Record No. 2826-1999 Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG/T3596---1999 Published on April 20, 1999 Implemented on April 1, 2000 Published by the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry HG/T3596-1999Www.bzxZ.net This standard is equivalent to the industrial standard JIS C2336-1991 "Pressure Sensitive Polyvinyl Chloride Adhesive Tapes for Electrical Insulation". The main difference between this standard and JIS C2336-1991 is that the inspection rules for products are detailed according to the actual situation in my country. This standard was proposed by the Technical Supervision Department of the former Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Adhesive Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting unit of this standard: Shanghai Rubber Products Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard: Ju Yinhan and Chen Xiufen. This standard is entrusted to the National Adhesive Standardization Technical Committee for interpretation. 1 Scope Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Polyvinyl chloride pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical insulation Pressure Sensitive Polyvinyl Chloride Adhesive Tapes for Electrical Insulation HG/T 3596—1999 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test force method, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation and storage of polyvinyl chloride pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical insulation. This standard is applicable to pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes with polyvinyl chloride film as the base material and adhesive coated evenly on one side. It is mainly used for electrical insulation. 2 Referenced Standards The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards are subject to revision. Parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. GB/T1692-92 Determination of insulation resistivity of vulcanized rubber GB/T2792-1998 Test method for 180° peel strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape GB/T7125-86 Test method for thickness of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape (eddy current method) GB/T7752-87 Test method for power frequency breakdown strength of insulating tape GB/T7753-87 Test method for tensile properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive tape GB/T1451-793 Test method for power frequency withstand voltage of insulating tape 3 Marking and specifications 3.1 Marking Polyvinyl chloride pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for electrical insulation is indicated as follows: PVC-Insulating Adhesive Tape 19-10 HG/T.XXX× -19 XX : Standard number Specification (width 19mm, length 10m) Code for polyvinyl fluoride insulating adhesive tape 3.2 Specifications Product specifications, dimensions and deviations shall comply with the provisions of Table 1Approved by the State Administration of Petroleum and Chemical Industry on April 20, 1999 and implemented on April 1, 2000 Basic dimensions HG/T 3596—1999 Table 1. Specifications, dimensions and deviations Basic dimensions 1) Special specifications shall be determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties, and the deviations may refer to the provisions of this table. 2) A roll can have: joints, but the joints cannot appear within 2m at both ends. 4 Technical requirements 4.1 Appearance Basic dimensions 31~-70 The adhesive tape should be wound into a roll evenly, without obvious deformation and winding gaps, and the two sides should be flat and straight without missing or overflowing glue. The color of the adhesive tape should be even, without wrinkles, scars, impurities and other defects that affect the performance. There is no glue on the back of the adhesive tape. 4.2 Performance The performance of the adhesive tape should comply with the requirements of Table 2. Table 2 Properties Tensile strength, N/cm Elongation at break, % 180° peel strength, N/cm Breakdown strength, positive V/mm Withstand voltage 5kVX1nmin Volume resistivity, n+cm Note: For breakdown strength and withstand voltage performance, one of the two indicators can be selected. 5 Test method 5.1 Appearance No breakdown 1×1012 Inspect by visual method. Unwind about 1m long adhesive tape within 3~5s to check whether there is adhesive migration to the back of the adhesive tape. 5.2 Size 5.2.1 Thickness of adhesive tape Measure according to GB/T7125. 5.2.2 Width of adhesive tape Measure with a vernier gauge with a scale of 0.02 mm. Measure two points on each roll, accurate to 0.1 mm, and take the median value. 5-2.3 Length of adhesive tape Measure with a steel sheet with a scale of ]mm. When measuring, the adhesive tape should be left for more than 1 minute after unwinding. The length of the adhesive tape should be accurate to 1 cm. 5.3 Performance 5.3.1 Tensile strength of adhesive tape According to the test case specified in GR/T7753 Tip: This standard content only shows part of the intercepted content of the complete standard.
