Some standard content:

GB/T 5843--2003
This standard is a revision of GB/T5843-1986 "Flange Coupling". Compared with GB/T5843--1986, the main changes in this standard are as follows:
The coupling model has been modified according to GB/T12458 "Coupling Classification"; the structural type has been increased from two to three;
The nominal torque has been greatly adjusted, which is more than twice the original standard; the specifications have been reduced from 18 to 13;
The material of the half coupling - cast iron and cast steel has been cancelled; -·The dimensions that must be selected have been added; - The original Appendix A "Coupling Selection Instructions" has been deleted. This standard was proposed and assigned by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Machine Shafts and Accessories. The drafting units of this standard are: Mechanical Science Research Institute, Deyang Erzhong Basic Parts Factory. The main drafters of this standard are: Ming Cuixin, Wang Jiannong, Gao Wen, and Liu Xueguang. The previous versions of the standards replaced by this standard are: -GB/T 5843-1986.
