Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China HG2014—91 Wire rope traction flame retardant conveyor belt Published on June 27, 1991 Published by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China and implemented on December 1, 1991 Chemical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China Wire rope traction flame retardant conveyor belt Subject content and scope of application HG2014—91 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, acceptance rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage rules, etc. of wire rope traction flame retardant conveyor belts (referred to as wire rope traction flame retardant belts). This standard is applicable to conveyor belts supported and pulled by wire ropes in situations requiring flame retardancy and static conductivity. 2 Reference standards GB528 Determination of tensile properties of vulcanized rubber GB3512 Test method for hot air aging of rubber Specification and test method for electrical conductivity of conveyor belts GB3684 GB3685 Test method for flame retardancy of conveyor belts GB6757 General rules for storage and handling of conveyor belts 3 Product classification 3.1 Structure Wire rope traction flame retardant belts use flame retardant rubber as the upper and lower short cover layers and ear rubber. Usually, the belt core is made of horizontally arranged high-elastic square steel bars and a layer of canvas with rubber on the upper and lower sides. The belt body thus formed is provided with overlapping ear rubber grooves on both sides for the convenience of wire rope traction. The upper and lower positions of the ear rubber grooves can be staggered or equidistant. As shown in Figure 1. e Figure 1 Structure of fire-retardant belt for wire rope traction 1—High elastic square steel bar: 2—Filling rubber: 3—Tape layer; 4—Upper and cover layer, 5—Lower cover layer: 6—Ear rubber 3.2 Specifications Approved by the Ministry of Chemical Industry of the People's Republic of China on 1991-06-27 and implemented on 1991-12-01 HG2014—91 The specifications of fire-retardant belt for wire rope traction are distinguished by width and safety performance type. 3.2.1 The width of fire-retardant belt for wire rope traction shall be determined by negotiation between the supplier and the supplier. 3.2.2 The safety performance types of flame-retardant belts for wire rope traction are shown in Table 2. 3.3 Model The composition and arrangement order of the models of flame-retardant belts for wire rope traction are as follows: a. Nominal width, mm Letter code S for flame-retardant and static conductive; safety performance type, I or II, Steel bar size, mm, Wire rope diameter, mm, Upper and lower cover layer thickness, mm; Number of tape layers. Model examples are as follows: 3.4 Dimensions 3.4.1 Length 5×5×1034-40-3×2-2 -Number of tape layers Thickness of upper and lower covering layers Wire rope diameter Steel bar size Safety performance type Letter code for flame retardant and electrostatic conductive Belt width specifications The length of the flame retardant belt for wire rope traction is determined by negotiation between the supplying and supplying parties, and the limit deviation of the length is ±0.2% of the ordered length. 3.4.2 Width The upper and lower limit deviations of the width of the flame retardant belt for wire rope traction are ±1% of the bandwidth. 3.4.3 Covering layer thickness The thickness of the covering layer of the flame retardant belt for wire rope traction is determined by negotiation between the supplying and supplying parties. When the thickness of the covering layer is equal to or less than 4mm, the lower limit deviation shall not be greater than 0.2mm; when the thickness of the covering layer is greater than 4mm, the lower limit deviation shall not be greater than 5% of the specified thickness. 3.4.4 Ear rubber thickness The ear rubber thickness and limit deviation of the wire rope traction non-flammable belt shall be determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. 4 Technical requirements 4.1 Appearance quality The wire rope traction non-flammable belt shall not have appearance defects that affect the performance or flame retardant performance. 4.2 Physical and mechanical properties of covering layer and ear rubber The physical and mechanical properties of the covering layer and ear rubber of the wire rope traction non-flammable belt are shown in Table 1. Tensile strength, MPa not less than Elongation at break, % not less than Aging test: (70℃×7 days) Change rate of tensile strength and elongation at break, %4.3 Safety performance HG2014—91 The safety performance of the fire-retardant belt for wire rope traction is divided into type 1 and type Ⅱ, as shown in Table 2.1, the safety performance items of type 1 include alcohol torch combustion and static electricity conduction, and type Ⅱ includes alcohol torch combustion, static electricity conduction and propane burner combustion. The user shall negotiate with the manufacturer to determine which type of safety performance type of fire-retardant belt for wire rope traction to use according to the needs. Table 2 Safety performance type 5 Test method Alcohol burner burning The average value of the open flame self-extinguishing time of 4 samples is not more than 60$, and the average value of the flameless combustion self-extinguishing time of 4 samples is not more than 180: The average value of the open flame self-extinguishing time of 6 full-thickness samples is not more than 3s, and the single value of the open flame self-extinguishing time of any sample is not more than 10s19 The average value of the open flame self-extinguishing time of the samples with the summer cover layer peeled off is not more than 5s, and the single value of the open flame self-extinguishing time of any sample is not more than 15s5.1 Rubber coating tensile performance test Static conductivity 3×10*0 Propane burner burning Conventional test: The unburned length of any sample is not less than 250 According to GB528. The size of the sample is cut by a bell-shaped cutter of type 2 (narrow part width 4.0 ± 0.1mm). 5.2 Rubber cover aging resistance test Perform according to GB3512. 5.3 Alcohol burner burning test Perform according to GB3685. The sample is a rectangle with a length of 150±2mm and a width of 25±2mm. The samples are all transverse samples taken at least 50mm from the inner side of the ear, without metal transverse parts.
